I am an experienced employment and labor law attorney and a passionate advocate for working people who have suffered discrimination in the workplace. I counsel and represent clients in matters relating to sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation and whistleblower actions, wrongful termination, employee benefits, overtime and wage and hour concerns, and employment agreements.
Before joining Willig, Williams & Davidson, I was the Assistant Chief Counsel for the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, the Commonwealth’s civil rights enforcement agency. As Assistant Chief Counsel, I successfully litigated a wide range of discrimination matters including claims based upon sexual orientation, religious accommodation, disability, race, sex, and denial of employment based on a criminal record.
I also co-founded and I am the current Board Chair of the Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity.

Ryan Hancick
Ryan was very helpful throughout the entire process and kept me informed all the way until the end. My best interest always always his number priority and I am very satisfied with the outcome of my case
"Ryan Hancock is one of the most knowledgeable plaintiffs' lawyers in Pennsylvania about employment discrimination. He is a true fighter for his clients."
"I endorse this lawyer. He has very broad experience in this area and has a deft touch, particularly in those less than clear-cut situations which so frequently crop up in the employment realm. He has helped guide my clients through some awful HR issues with a very firm grasp of the law but also with creative ways through ugly group dynamics, as it’s clear he sees that the goal is a stable, happy work environment."
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Hancock is professional and reliable. He is well-versed in employment law. He works hard and fights for his clients."
"Ryan is a caring, relentless and sharp advocate for his clients. He understands the intricacies of employee rights law and obtains meaningful results for his clients. I endorse Ryan."
"I endorse this lawyer. M. Hancock is professional, responsible, and an excellent attorney. He is also a Commonwealth wide expert in criminal records."
