Health benefits are generally characterized under the law as "fringe benefits." But, that hardly reflects the importance of affordable, high quality health benefits coverage on not only the health but the financial security of the men and women we represent. Medical costs have spiralled out of control and even a single incident of uncompensated medical care can plunge a family into bankruptcy. This area of the law is constantly changing, not only because of changes in the law but also in the insurance marketplace and the provider community. My job -- and my life's work -- is to provide our clients with the most in-depth legal support we can in order to obtain and maintain these crucial benefits.
