I worked with Kathryn on my very contentious divorce in 2018/19 and again during a custody dispute in 2021/22. Kathryn was great to work with on both occasions and clearly outperformed opposing counsel on both occasions. She is extremely well prepared for court, but she is also great at thinking on t...he fly when unexpected situations arise. During divorce proceedings, Kathryn was able to negotiate better property settlement, alimony and child support terms than I would have gotten without a lawyer. I was also very happy with the custody agreement she negotiated. About two-and-a-half years after my divorced was finalized, my ex-wife decided to stop following the mutually agreed upon custody order. The issues continued to pile up and included dueling contempt charges, vaccination issues, school issues and an attempt to severely reduce my custody time. I first attempted to handle this matter on my own, but when it was clear I needed some professional help, I contacted Kathryn again and she seamlessly jumped back into my case. At the end of the trial my ex-wife was held in contempt (I was not), I now have full legal custody of my son with regards to vaccinations, my son is attending and flourishing at the school I wanted him to attend, and my custody time was significantly expanded. Opposing counsel was extremely belligerent and essentially ran a smear campaign with very little evidence, meanwhile Kathryn stuck to the facts and worked with me to back up my case with evidence including prior case rulings. She worked hard for me and always stayed calm, cool and collected. On both occasions, the results could not have been better, and I highly recommend Kathryn for any divorce, custody or related proceedings.
