My experience over the past 7 years dealing with United States Immigration and Attorneys in that field.

I had dealt with many attorneys on the long arduous process of obtaining my wife’s green card (and also a waiver). Without going into all the boring details, it wasn’t until Dan Lundy took over our case that we actually understood what and how things needed to be done. (We had been through two p...revious firms that led us on a very expensive wild goose chase to nowhere.) Unlike most attorneys where communication is often difficult, we were always able to get answers to all our questions within 24 hours. (We were also living in China during the process, which did not hinder his ability to keep in touch with us.) That being said, equally important, he laid out a time frame in which steps had to be completed and the approximate time needed to complete the whole process including all the pitfalls that we might encounter. He was right on the mark every step of the way. He met all of his responsibilities ahead of schedule and guided us through all of ours including interviews and proof of extreme hardship for our waiver. In a time where waivers are very hard to obtain, he reviewed our case and informed us of that our chances were good but it would still be a difficult process. He explained very clearly that we needed to prove on paper what was truthfully going on in our lives (he showed us exactly how to do that). He did not paint a simple picture of how easy it could be just facts and truths. Now I am happily living in America with my wife (from China) and two children. Aside from all of the above, his prices were the most reasonable (very surprising for a NY Park Ave attorney) and he made us feel that our case was equally important to him. In summary, this is the first time I have ever recommended an attorney. I am very happy to recommend Dan to assist you in dealing with all the Government bureaucracy involved in the present Immigration process. We are very grateful for all he has done for us. Steve C

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
