Dana Ingham represented me in 5 separate criminal matters, at the same time, containing over 15 first degree felony offenses and many dozen lesser felony/misdemeanor offenses. Our legal battle lasted 21 months. During this time my initial inclination was to have Dana fight for the best deal pos...sible so she immediately entered into aggressive plea negotiations leveraging any and all of our cases strengths while highlighting the prosecutions legal pitfalls. Dana was required to contact and acquire documentation and legal evidence from multiple out of state jurisdictions and separate entities within those jurisdictions to build our defense for leveraging the best deal possible. Unfortunately, and in no way related to Dana's legal representation, the prosecutions best offer was not conducive for me at that time. Dana and I rejected the offer and entered into developing a strategy for motions hearings and potential trial scenarios. Through this entire process I needed to make decisions potentially leading to being incarcerated for a few more years or being incarcerated for 36-72 more years. Dana guided me through the entire process with professionalism and poise. I always felt fully informed of the legal ramifications of my decisions and that Dana was 100% fully committed to providing me with the best service and defense. During motions preparation Dana successfully navigated the complexities of all my cases and impressed me with her ability to memorize the smallest most critical details. Our strategy for motions if we were to lose, was to fight my case at the Superior Court of PA because we believed in a victory on appeal. Despite Dana's preparation and excellent effort we did not win our motions hearing. In my opinion, we lost because I had a Judges family as a victim in my case and no matter what Dana did we were not going to win. Dana began preparing me for trial and the Superior Courts appeal process. Once again, Dana was extremely knowledgeable and I felt well informed. Dana was ready to defend me and attack the prosecution at trial, as well as preparing for an inevitable appeal. I was very confidant in Dana navigating the next stages of our battle. Fortunately, we did not need to continue our fight. In my opinion, this was because of Dana's aggressiveness during behind closed doors talk and the strength of our case on appeal. The prosecution offered Dana a timed served scenario for me with a few years of probation. In the end it was a victory because I was released after a long difficult battle. I would like to add that Dana was always prompt with communicating with me or my family. Dana also gives her clients the opportunity to be heard and express their thoughts.
