We hired Mr. List for an underage possession charge in Upper Providence. My son's case was complicated by the fact that he already did community service for a different charge as a minor. DE County only allows one chance at community service. I was somewhat concerned at first because Mr. List was ver...y relaxed and casual about the case and felt he would not have a problem getting a positive outcome. He was nice and friendly in the consultation but it was difficult to gauge how he would present and conduct himself in the courtroom. There was no pressure to hire him. He worked for a flat fee for whatever disposition we were aiming for. He provided two free consultations before hiring him. When he showed up in court it was obvious that he was familiar and friendly with the officers involved and the judge. He also very much looked and acted the part of good legal counsel. Of the other attorneys in court that day, he was the most presentable by far. He was able to work the case out satisfactorily for everyone involved and it basically went exactly as he said it would. He is very much rooted in the Media area and I think that helped our case. He knew what would and would not work with the judge and the officers. I am very happy with the experience and while his fee is a lot for a teenager with a part time job to afford, my son also felt that it was well worth it.
