Tony counsels a broad range of clients in the construction industry, including public and private owners, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers. He understands the unique challenges and opportunities of participants in each construction tier. Clients rely on him to identify potential problems and avoid risks through every stage of the construction process, from contract negotiations through project closeout. He also routinely counsels clients on matters concerning payment disputes, delay and disruption claims, payment and performance bonds, prompt payment statutes, and mechanics’ liens.

Tony is active in numerous construction trade associations, providing counsel and participating in chapter committees. He regularly presents construction law seminars and webinars and is a frequent author of articles on emerging construction laws and trends.

Highly recommend Tony for any dispute resolution needs
Tony has handled several matters for me over the years (primarily litigation/arbitration matters). Not only does he always have an expert level handle on the issues involved in our cases, but his ability to effectively communicate the issues and arguments clearly and concisely is unmatched. More importantly he is very results oriented which as a client I appreciate as far as costs and time. Finally, he is always responsive and has never left me in the dark as far as strategy, questions I may have and any updates.

Great Construction Lawyer
Tony has worked on my legal needs several times, detailing the pros and cons of the issues and keeping me abreast of any developments. He fought to obtain my final payment on a major commercial project and is currently working on eliminating my name on a frivolous business lawsuit. He is highly skilled and knowledgeable in the area of construction law. Tony has a good personality, is friendly and social, and is a decent person that you can trust with your legal issues.

Rumsey rating
I have dealt with Mr. Byler and his firm for over 12 years. The success rate on the cases he has handled has been extraordinary. My company is quite meticulous when it comes to turning an account over to an attorney. We analyze the cost effectiveness of a case and review it with Mr. Byler. His candid opinion as to whether to proceed shows me not only how professional his firm is but also that he truly cares for the better well being of each of his clients. I highly recommend Mr. Byler and his firm.
