Elliott Ross Katz

Contacted Elliot for his services for a traffic citation. The original citation was for 88 in a 55, which could have resulted in my license being suspended. Immediately looked into getting a lawyer as I did not want to get all those points onto my license and landed upon Elliot. I was looking for som...eone who had a good rapport with the judges and police officers around the area. Through talking with him it was immediately evident he did. On the day of the hearing, I decided to go just out of curiosity and observe and it was clear Elliot did know the police officers and judges. After going into a room with the trooper and coming out, Elliot let me know that the citation was amended to 5 over the speed limit, meaning my license was saved and I didn’t get any points on my license. I received two tickets from a trooper on route 422 in PA, 80 in a 55 and some nebulous additional charge that the officer said was because I stayed in the left lane after passing. This would have been 4 points and I have a very clean record. I decided to fight the ticket with the hope of getting t...he charge reduced. I had asked the officer to consider doing this and he would not do so. I found Mr. Katz because he sent a solicitation in the mail; I had received several others but his was the only one that guaranteed results or my money back. I called him and was impressed by his knowledge of the jurisdiction (Royersford, PA) as well as the fact that his fee was $500, which was $250 less than other attorney's quoted me without a guarantee. Mr. Katz recommended I complete a safe driving course online (free) called Driving University before my court date as it would give him some leverage. I did this; honestly, it was a bit of a pain to complete and taught me almost nothing I didn't already know, but it was worth the time. On my court date (I didn't have to attend, also), the officer didn't show up. There was some sort of gas leak and technically the court was closed, but it was all online anyway, and Mr. Katz convinced the judge to drop the charges completely since the officer wasn't there and since I had taken that course, rather than reschedule the proceedings. One week later I got the $200 I had paid the court when I plead "not guilty" back and the charges are officially dropped. On top of this very happy result, let me just say that I enjoyed speaking with and working with Mr. Katz. He is very professional, knows his business and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs help in traffic court!!!

Elliott was fantastic and very responsive in letting me know why he was the right lawyer for my case. He is personable and experienced. He was able to reduce my possible 5 point moving violation to 0 points with a slight refund on the ticket costs. Couldn't ask for much of a better outcome. Would def...initely recommend to others in the future.
