I am a 50-something Pennsylvania lawyer in solo practice with my office in an old mansion outside of beautiful downtown Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania in suburban Philadelphia.
I have worked in each area where a lawyer can work - in a corporation, in government, in a law firm, and for the last ten years in solo practice. Each of those experiences came along at the right time in life - but I am very happy with a seven minute commute these days, working in a beautiful old Main Line home, and running a low overhead law practice.
As my own boss, I do not need to squeeze every matter for every last nickel, but I can do what I went into the field of law to do - help people with their problems. My practice areas include real estate, contracts, finance, construction, business formation (corporations, partnerships, LLC's) and operation, estate planning - wills, powers of attorney, living wills and trusts- and probate and estate administration.

He provided great advice and made the process very easy. Starting 2019, Doug has served as business counsel for my consulting business...

Doug's Activity for Me
Having moved to Swarthmore, PA in 2009 I needed to have an up-to-date will, a Transfer on Death Agreement and a Power of Attorney. My daughter and her husband knew Doug and had used him for there legal information, so I used him to prepare those legal papers for me.

Best Real Estate and Estate Planning Attorney!
I have been using Mr. Humes' legal services since 1990, for all of my half-dozen businesses that I own and control - businesses locally and a nationwide business. And personal matters as well. Here are just some of the legal services that I have received from Mr. Humes throughout the years: Drafting ...

Estate Settlements
Doug handled 2 estate settlements for me during 2013 & 2014, doing an excellent job in a very confusing environment - much of that confusion created by his customer. Doug provided sage legal advice with humor and grace - couldn't ask for better -so maybe we shouldn't kill all the lawyers!
