Dennis is the Senior Trial Partner with Lowenthal & Abrams, Injury Attorneys. His practice is focused on medical malpractice litigation. Dennis joined Lowenthal in 1986 after serving under Attorney General Dick Thornburgh in the criminal environmental section.

Prior to joining Thornburgh, Dennis served with the Attorney General of West Virginia, beginning as an Assistant Attorney and working his way up to Deputy Attorney General. During his time with the Attorney General of West Virginia, Dennis created an environmental task-force funded with federal government tax dollars. At its peak his task-force had 8 attorneys which under Dennis’ watch wrote or rewrote most of the rules and regulations relating to the environment for the state of West Virginia. Dennis also implemented guidelines for aerial spraying of power-lines to protect communities from being negatively impacted by the chemicals utilized for spraying. Throughout the implementation of these guidelines Dennis worked with the cooperation of the power companies.

Always interested in pro bono work, after winning a 13 million dollar verdict in a medical malpractice case in 2001, Dennis decided it was time to give back to his community in a grand way. He is the co-founder of the Christian Legal Clinics of Philadelphia which provide free legal advice in the 55th street area. The clinics continue to grow and expand with the goal of having five clinics running within the next few years.

Dennis obtained his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law where he was a member of both the Law Review and Moot Court. Dennis was named to Top Lawyers 2009, by Main Line Today (Medical Malpractice Law.)

In his personal life, Dennis is married and the proud father of two children. In his spare time he likes to grow a large vegetable garden each year and engage in woodworking and cycling.

Saved My future

I contacted this firm after I was in a car accident where an uninsured driver ran thru a red light and crashed into my car and my insurance company said " oops, too bad, nothing we can do you had the wrong type of insurance coverave" this firm was able to help me get money from my insurance company to replace my totaled car and monies to pay for my medical procedures.. If it wasn't for this company I would not have been able to pay for medical attention. I would not have been able to purchase a car to continue getting to work. This firm kept me in the loop with what was going on 100% of the time. Informed me of all of my options and even gave me advice as to what type of coverage all drivers should have to protect them. The Law Office to turn too!!!

I have always found this law firm to be the best I have ever hired in many categories of I need them for . This is I always considered them 1st handed to take on these companies for my wifes injuries. This is now the 2nd case settled and a 3rd one soon to be settled soon aa well. So if your looking for a excellent law firm to help defend your rights and stick by you . This is the best I recommend. Not only do the attorneys work well for youu , so do there paralegals as well. Also these people actually answer there phones or emails and communicate as much as possible. Not like some you hardly or never here anything from. And they aren't pushy neither as well. You feel actually welcomed at this law office So anyone looking for the right law firm to choose . Lowenthal and Abrahams is the place to turn too.

Attentive to every need!

Having had past experience with Dennis Abrams in another law suit, I was very pleased this time to have the experience of my expectations. EVERY person I had contact with was attentive to my EVERY need. There was NEVER any shipping me around to different extensions with endless voice mails. Every time I had a concern or question, it was answered immediately.
