Filing for divorce can mark one of the most difficult periods in life. I began that journey just over two years ago after meeting with Jill Trayer and presenting my personal case. I signed with Jill the first day I met her because she immediately demonstrated a quick sense of focus, an attention to d...etail, controlled compassion and a calm overall demeanor. These were important attributes to me as I was dealing with what I would describe as a highly manipulative and financially deceitful spouse. I wanted representation that would not be distracted with the traditional ‘smoke and mirrors’ tactics and move the process steadily ahead. We were confronted with tactics of delays, non-compliance with requested paperwork, and consistent ‘smoke and mirrors’ defensiveness without any movement toward appropriate settlement whatsoever.
