The Best Lawyer

Finding Chuck was the answer to prayers. My son’s repeated denial for accommodations on his National boards seemed like the end of the road for his career as a physical therapist. Thankfully we found Chuck. He is extremely well versed on education disability law. My son would have begun his career ye...ars earlier had we had his legal advice from the start. He is extremely competent and capable of getting the result needed. Do not hesitate to hire Chuck. We are forever grateful for the work he did and for his care and compassion throughout the process.

Outstanding Legal Counsel: Charles Weiner

I had the pleasure of connecting with Charles while searching for legal representation, and I can't emphasize enough how fortunate I am to have found him. From our first interaction, it was evident that Charles is not your ordinary attorney. He is an exceptional legal professional who goes above and ...beyond to serve his clients. Charles's dedication to his clients is truly remarkable. He not only took the time to listen carefully to my concerns but also demonstrated a rare care and attention in the legal field. His commitment to providing top-notch service is nothing short of commendable. Throughout our association, Charles exhibited a profound understanding of the intricacies of the legal system; his expertise and knowledge are evident in how he handles cases, offering insightful guidance and clear explanations every step of the way. Furthermore, Charles's responsiveness and availability are worth noting. He promptly addressed my inquiries and informed me about my case details, ensuring I felt comfortable and informed throughout the conversation. In a landscape where finding a trustworthy attorney can be challenging, Charles and his team, including Kristi, stand out as beacons of professionalism, integrity, and competence. I am immensely grateful for their assistance and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking legal counsel in the field of education. Thank you, Charles, for your outstanding service and unwavering support. I

Excellent, honest lawyer

Attorney Weiner represented my daughter in an action against the organization that administers the medical boards. It would be hard to imagine a more knowledgeable lawyer in this area. He was kind and honest, and achieved a favorable result for us. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Poor Response Time and Lack of Follow Through

Charles Weiner has shown that it is of no importance to him to maintain communication with me, a client that signed a contract with him. It became apparent to me that my documents for a consultation were not reviewed until two weeks after I submitted them, when Charles contacted me to submit two othe...r items (I submitted the requested documents on July 23, 2021 and did not receive a "review" until August 11, 2021). This review was to include an evaluation of all of my documents submitted. Yet, when I asked questions about the strength of my personal statement, Mr. Weiner stated that he focused more on the psychological evaluation and physician's letter, and that further engagement with additional fees is when he would supply an opinion on the personal statement. So the full scope of services were not provided. Furthermore, following his phone call on August 11, 2021, he said that he would provide a written summary of his findings. It is August 28, 2021, and he has still failed to do so. He has been aware of the time-sensitive issues, and yet, I still have received no responses from him. This includes TWO follow-up emails sent to him on August 17, 2021 (in which I even asked how do I further engage for phase 2 which required a $3000 retainer and asked if he handles school policy issues or if he was only working on the NBME issue, could he refer me to someone to handle the school policy issues) and August 26, 2021 respectively. At this point, I have no confidence in his representation or ability to respond to me in a timely fashion or send out documents to the NBME or my school in a timely fashion. I am now seeking new counsel and have to start over on the consultation process with another law firm. This has already been a tedious, long stressful process; and the last thing that I need is someone who I'm paying and who should be essential and supportive in this process, to disappear on me. After filing a dispute with PayPal for services not as described and requesting a partial refund on August 28, 2021; within TWO days on August 30, 2021, Charles decided to respond to me directly via email. So this tells me that he’s definitely been seeing the emails and ignoring them, as the email on file for PayPal, is the same email that I’ve been using to contact him. I didn’t even bother reading his email, as nothing can be said at this point to absolve this situation, because no trust or confidence exists. You don’t drop off of the radar when a client is relying on you; that’s poor business acumen and taking advantage. 12-3-21 update: Charles Weiner stated: “After the review of documents furnished by the prospective client and phone consultation with counsel, which was conducted within a timely manner, counsel conveyed that he was not handling the matter further. Counsel was paid only his minimum fee for the consultation and no further fees were requested or paid. The reviewer is apparently discontent that counsel conveyed that he would not handle the matter further.” It took 1+ month to get an initial call back. At no point in time did Charles Weiner inform me that he was “not handling the matter further.” After our call w/ his “review” of documents, he stated that he would send me in writing, his findings & a contract for the 2nd phase of representation including for the $3000 retainer. I never received that email. I sent him two follow up emails, one even asking if he provided representation against my school. I never received a response from him. That is when I filed a dispute through PayPal. My supporting documents to them were Charles’s contract & his correspondences. Charles sent them something too. PayPal ruled in my favor for a reason. Charles sent me two emails after Paypal ruled in my favor, about my Avvo review, which I only saw a portion of his email in my inbox & deleted them w/o reading. I contacted the state bar & attorney’s offices to stop Charles from further contacting me. This all occurred before he posted here.

This anonymous review was made by an individual who paid for a review of documents and phone consultation regarding the merits of their case. The individual was aware that there was no commitment by counsel to pursue the matter further. After the review of documents furnished by the prospective client and phone consultation with counsel, which was conducted within a timely manner, counsel conveyed that he was not handling the matter further. Counsel was paid only his minimum fee for the consultation and no further fees were requested or paid. The reviewer is apparently discontent that counsel conveyed that he would not handle the matter further.

THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was very fortunate to have Mr. Charles Weiner, ESQ handle my case this year. Approximately eight years ago, I applied for accommodations on the USMLE Step 1 and USMLE Step CK, and was denied numerous times despite having appropriate documentation from specialists and professors. I presented my case... to Charles Weiner, ESQ. He was very knowledgeable about the laws surrounding Disability Law and the expectations from the NBME. He listened to and answered all my concerns. When it became time to apply for accommodations, Mr. Weiner submitted an 11 page letter attached with my documents. Within 30 day I received a letter from the NBME, that I would be granted accommodations. I can honestly say that without Charles Weiner’s, ESQ aid this would not be possible. He is a true and invaluable expert attorney! If you are his client… you simply have the best of the best!
