National Federation of the Blind vs. Target

In a settlement, Target agreed to take necessary steps to make its web site fully and equally accessible and to pay $6 million in damages to a class of blind Californians who had unsuccessfully attempted to use the web site.

Commonwealth of Massachusetts & The National Federation of the Blind v. Cardtronics

In a class action agreement, it was agreed that Cardtronics would make all of its ATMs accessible on a scheduled basis, Cardtronics would pay the NFB $900,00 for attorney fees, and make a $100,000 contribution to Massachusetts’ local consumer aid fund.
