I hired Mr. Preate to defend me in a criminal matter. He was very nice in the beginning when he was waiting to get paid, but that changed soon after he got his check cashed. He never replied to my calls, or text, and his staff was rude as well. I didn't even know what was happening with my case because he didn't care enough to call me and inform me. I thought he was a good lawyer due to al his personal achievements but I couldn't have been more wrong. Don't be fooled by this guy, there are better lawyers out there.

I put my trust in this guy, and he took my money and did nothing for me in return. He never returns my phone calls, and is rude after he gets paid. I wish I could turn back the clock and fire this guy. He is a felon and acts that way. He lies, and doesn't know the law as well as he thinks. He is smug, and tries to look down on his clients and as well as the people who work around him. I seen him yell at his staff with little regard to their feelings. He should retire. Don't make the mistake of hiring this guy.

I paid this attorney a lot of money to tell me what I wanted to hear, then when the time came to stand up for me in court he failed. He never returns phone calls, and he even yelled at me because I questioned his decisions. I am not talking about just a little yelling, I am talking rage. He is a egotistical lawyer who was once somebody but now just a nobody.

I had the misfortune of using Mr. Preate for a criminal case a few years ago, he was late for multiple hearings, ( angers the judge!) hardly returns phone calls, and WILL NOT fight for you. He uses his name and previous position as the Attorney General to get clients a mediocre plea deal that wont cause him any waves. At one time he was the guy you hired if you wanted to win, now hes the guy to hire if you want to pay too much money for someone who lets his aides do all the work. He wont even argue on behalf of a client when court rules and client rights have been violated.
