Innocent until proven guilty, and proof beyond a reasonable doubt, are the two main principles in our justice system. Without these fundamentals, and access to great attorneys, our society would have no guarantee against innocent people, being wrongfully convicted. I was looking for an attorney... who believed in these values as much as I did, and who would aggressively defend me against wrongful charges. Another quality I was looking for in an attorney, was someone with whom I felt comfortable working with. What first struck my interest in Attorney Qaqish, were his reviews. Primarily, the main theme that I gathered from the reviews was Attorney Qaqish had a great track record of reducing, diminishing, or mitigating charges in other cases. The secondary theme I noticed in the reviews were people commenting on Attorney Qaqish’s willingness to defend his clients, with an actual aggressive plan of defense. Lastly, his reviews were numerous, and consistently relevant, more simply stated, he appeared to be an active working attorney, with many current positive reviews. After my experience with Attorney Qaqish, I can attest he lives up to what I had read. Another highly commendable quality Attorney Qaqish possesses is excellent communication. I first experienced this, when I made my first phone call to initially discuss my case, and just to try to get a feel for his personality over the phone. The prior two attorneys I tried reaching, had their secretaries answer the phone, and required a face to face meeting, before I could even make a decision on if I wanted to work with them. Attorney Qaqish lists his direct phone number (very rare), personally answered after only two rings, and discussed my case, exceeding my expectations. During all the pre-trial meetings, emails, and other phone calls (to which he has answered three out of three times), Attorney Qaqish was reachable, and able to answer all my questions, regardless of how simplistic some of them may have been, in a clear concise, non-condescending manner. Attorney Qaqish took time to fully and diligently, understand the case, and the angles we needed to pursue in court. Attorney Qaqish pursued a logical, pragmatic, poignant line of cross examination, that definitely pointed to inconsistencies in the prosecution’s case. Also, it was under the questioning of Attorney Qaqish, that my direct testimony came out in such a positive way, that my case was dismissed, even after a lengthy 1 hour trial. I owe Attorney Qaqish copious amounts of gratitude, for his representation. If the future dictates another need for representation, I will not hesitate to retain Attorney Qaqish. I am also in a great position now to be able to personally recommend him to family, friends, and hopefully convince others who are reading these online reviews, that Attorney Qaqish is a competent lawyer, who won’t let you down, and will fight for you! I was uncertain whether the charge against me could carry a term of imprisonment or not. In addition to explaining the nature of the charges over the phone, Mr. Qaqish provided valuable insight into both the habitual rulings and temperament of the judge and explained all possible avenues of recourse.... Always answers your call or email promptly. Ed explained exactly what was going to take place at the magistrate hearing when he represented me for a speeding ticket. I was looking at five points on my DL. Ed was able to get that to ZERO points. I couldn't be happier with the outcome he negotiated... for me.
