THE ONLY LAWYER IN ALLENTOWN WHO CARES!!

M y son is a student at Muhlenberg College and got a DUI 9 months ago. We read that he would lose his license automatically because he was underage and this was the 2nd time he was arrested for a DUI (but the other one was in NJ). We were prepared to help him keep his record clean in whatever way w...e could but I knew that he'd probably end up with a long license suspension and since we don't live in Pa, he'd have to leave school or pay his roomate or something to drive him around all the time. Long story short, we were referred to Attorney Roberts by one of the Allentown police (a female police officer who was involved in taking our son into custody), who said this attorney knows all the police and judges and she will get us through the right way. We talked to a few other lawyers who specialize in DUI cases and it seemed like they wanted a fortune up front but with no promises. Attorney Roberts told us that she would shoot for trying to keep his record clean but she wouldn't lie to anyone because she could lose her lawyers license and that sometimes it's better to just come clean about your past.....in the end she was right. The DA respected it and was more lenient on my son than he had to be. I have had some bad experiences with lawyers in the past (although not criminal cases) but Attorney Roberts is the best. She always returned our phone calls immediately, even emails and texts. Why can't all lawyers be like her????

SUPERB LAWYER AND LADY!

My son was charged in Northampton County with a stolen gun in his car. He had 2 friends in the car but only my son ended up being charged. The police were trying to connect some other serious crimes that the gun was used in to my son. This could have gone very badly. My son is no angel and he's b...een in trouble before, but we knew he wasn't involved in any crimes using guns on people. We were actually given Attorney Roberts' name by the judge at the 1st hearing as the right person to call (I won't mention the judge's name because I don't want anyone getting in trouble). That judge was so right. Attorney Roberts walked us carefully down the path and explained everything in plain English to us as non-lawyers. My son ended up with a disorderly conduct charge as a compromise because she carefully challenged things. No jail and no probation. He can get his record cleaned after 5 years. We are so grateful. My son was considering fleeing Pa because of this mess. Now he's gotten a job and is on the right track. Thanks to Ms. Roberts and she didn't charge us a fortune either.

ALWAYS CALLS ME BACK IMMEDIATELY

I've had a lot of lawyers over the years for different things and Ms Roberts is the best. Unfortunately, she doesn't practice law in other areas related to business or tax law. But when I needed a criminal defense attorney, she was recommended. I had a complicated PFA case because my ex and I are... fighting over custody of 2 kids and he decided to claim I was abusing one of the kids. Then Children & Youth got involved. Then detectives contacted me saying criminal charges might be coming. It felt like an avalanche. To make a long story short, she and I were in constant contact for about a month, and she made EVERYTHING go away--my ex lost the PFA case, and Children & Youth closed the case saying no evidence of abuse and then the detectives never bothered me after that. If any of these accusations came really public, my whole reputation would have been ruined with my business, my neighbors and friends and a lot more. Ms Roberts navigated me through this and I was really scared. She asked me to go on here and write an endorsement for her. I'm more than happy to do it.

VERY AGGRESSIVE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE, PROFESSIONAL ALL-AROUND

We were seeking someone to aggressively handle our grandson's case and try to prevent charges from being filed involving his ex-girlfriend. We hired Attorney Roberts when my husband talked to his boss, who recommended her and then my husband's friend (a retired police officer) also told us to call h...er. We met with her just 2 times but had many many phone calls inbetween. Her prices wasn't cheap, but we expected that because she is well-known and gets it done. She certainly got it done for us. My grandson never ended up having any charges filed at all, thank god, because his ex's claims were ridiculous and could have ruined his school career and his life. We owe you all the credit Attorney Roberts!

MY FATHER WRONGLY ACCUSED OF ASSAULT ON HIS GIRLFRIEND. CASE DROPPED

I hired Ms Roberts to handle my father's assault case. He's been with the same woman for 30 years but they're not married and she's got mental problems. She likes to injure herself or threaten to and then call the police. This time, she went too far, called her own kids and claimed my father was b...eating her. When the police got there, they seized a gun from the house (which my father rightfully owns and has a permit for) and then arrested him for "beating" her, even though all she had was a cut on her cheek. She told so many lies upon lies to different people but the police said they had to arrest on a domestic case. When we finally had the hearing a couple months later, the district attorney was very aggressive to push the girlfriend forward in testifying and was telling her that my father would always be an abuser. I had to intervene and let the district attorney know the whole story. But still she thought I was just defending my father out of loyalty. So Ms Roberts said we would have to do it the hard way and have a hearing. After 2 1/2 hours, the case was dismissed by the judge. The district attorney was mad and stormed out. But my father has restored his good name and his girlfriend is shown to be a liar. Thanks to Attorney Roberts. She predicted everything that would happen in this complicated situation exactly as it went down. Very experienced and explained everything to us. She asked me to write a review of her and I'm glad to do it. No hesitations--hire her!

  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
