Highly Recommend Attorney Roberts

A few years back I received a DUI and it was my first offense. . I was very worried and scared. I went on AVVO and looked for a lawyer that handles criminal cases. I saw that attorney Roberts had all 5 star reviews so I contacted her and hired her. I am very glad I did. She is very intelligent, kn...owledgeable, she has a great way of talking to you and keeping you calm. Her communication is wonderful and she is always in touch with you, never leaving you hanging. She helped so much with my DUI. I just recently needed her service again and she was just as amazing with my case. I highly recommend Attorney Roberts! She is the very best!

GLAD I SEARCHED CAREFULLY

We hired Attorney Roberts for our son's DUI case along with a separate citation for public drunkenness at a local college. I spoke to many lawyers and I wasn't sure what I was looking for until I spoke with Ms Roberts. Immediately I recognized a difference. She explained honestly what were the typi...cal consequences and that the big wrinkle for us was that the cases were going on in different counties. Our son has a bright future in front of him and after so much investment in him, we didn't want it all thrown away by his bad choices as a kid in college. Ms. Roberts reminded us that he's not a "kid" (but he'll always be MY baby). We are not a family accustomed to criminal court proceedings and criminal law is foreign to us, plus we live in another state, though we visit our son frequently. But Ms. Roberts carefully explained everything from the beginning. We are so thankful to her and don't mind at all leaving a review, though we won't leave a last name for fear of reprisals on our son's future. Thanks very much Ms. Roberts and hope we won't need you again!

NOT GUILTY VERDICT IN MY SON'S TRIAL

Mrs. Roberts asked us to write her a review after she just won my son's trial with the jury. It went on for 3 days but she and my son spent 9 months preparing for the trial. I won't state my son's name (just the 1st name Joshua) so I don't embarass him but Mrs. Roberts you know who he is anyway. This... was in Northampton county. It was his 3rd DUI case but his 1st one was more than 10 years ago so it only counted as his 2nd case.My son didn't give his blood and he said he only had one beer when he was out with friends but then he rear-ended someone. He was insisting there was no way he was drunk for a dui case but of course no one believes you when you hit someone. SInce he didn't give his blood they were basing it off witnesses but then Mrs roberts got the camera footage and it showed my son as a young man looking pretty sober. So then police changed the story up a bit and came up with more "facts" claiming he did other things. Mrs roberts was able to show that one of those things wasn't true even though the other things were true and they still wouldn't drop the case so they ended up in a trial. It wasnt' cheap but it totally saved my son cause he wouldve lost his good job, gone to jail for at least 90 days and lost his license for at least a year and he has little kids to support. So we figured pay now for a lawyer and hope she can help or we all pay later when my son has a public defender instead of a lawyer and goes to jail and loses his job and we all have to pick up the pieces cause he's in jail. I didn't know mrs roberts before this case cause i never needed a criminal lawyer but a neighbor recommended her and we are so thankful that she didnt' give up fighting for my son. She will tell you the truth on if she can fight it and it will cost you to fight it all the way thru but totallly worth it for my son. Thanks again!

Professionalism, top constitutional ,effective corporate.

I got PFA violation 2 years ago and searched around for an attorney that would pay attention since I had bad experiences with lawyers years ago. I called Attorney Roberts and it clicked right away since #1 she called me right back, #2 she talked to me for quite a bit about the case in our 1st call (...A LOT MORE THAN MOST LAWYERS WERE WILLING TO DO). #3 she gave me a fair price of $1,000 on the PFA violation and then we had a formal conference to go over everything and 2 more conferences to make sure we were all ready before the hearing. That was totally the opposite of what I was used to from lawyers in the past so a good sign. To top it off she said she can’t promise an outcome but felt confident and after a messy hearing, we won thank god because my ex could’ve put me in jail with lies…. Fast forward and my son gets a DUI charge and an aggravated assault charge for an incident at a bar in Allentown. My son wasn’t challenging the DUI but he absolutely denied assaulting anyone. (he was at a bar where a fight broke out and a person got hurt but my son quickly left and cops pulled him over cause he ran away and said HE was the assaulter). That big mixup put my so who has no record in jail for nearly 9 months, plus all through Covid and I was scared to death he was gonna get covid and die in the jail. He actually got covid but luckily recovered. Cops barely investigated anything in the case and Attorney Roberts said the police investigation was totally amateur and a high school kid could’ve done better. Attorney Roberts gave me a really fair price and told me we had to be patient and strong to fight it out in court cause cops wouldn’t just withdraw charges like that. After a LONG wait and many hearings, my son ended up with just the DUI and a pretty sweat deal on the DUI too. Attorney Roberts asked me to write a review and tell the truth so people can tell the difference between lawyers who help you and ones who steal your money and just don’t care. I wanted a lawyer who was gonna do more than the bare minimum, return my phone calls, and also not just tell me what I wanna hear. Thank you for all your hard work twice for me and my family Mrs. Roberts. I appreciate you and you will be hearing from anyone I know that needs a lawyer!!

VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND EXPLAINS THINGS

We hired Kate Roberts from a recomendation of my husband's boss. Our son goes to Muhlenberg College and got a DUI last year during Covid. It was based on a very tiny amount of alcohol plus that he had marijuana in his system even though he told he'd smoked a little bit of marijuna at a party a few we...eks before the police pulled him over. Who knew you could get a DUI for that, even when he wasn't showing signs to be intoxicated enough for a DUI and the cop told us that???? The DA apparently overruled the cop and said yes, even though he wasn't showing signs of intoxication his blood level has marijunana and it's a DUI automatically. ........bet lots of people don't know that either. Kate spent a really long time explaining all the ways a DUI can happen and really educating us. We appreciated that because we consulted with several lawyers before calling her and they were quoting us alot of money but also not nearly taking the time to explain it all in a detailed way. Guess lawyers think non-lawyers wouldn't understand. Anyhow Kate was really nice about my numerous questions and helped our son get through this without jail and not get kicked out of school. We are forever grateful.
