the BEST for my DUI case

I got a DUI case in Macungie and the cops totally LIED about what happened. Ms Roberts told me she had a few tricks to use in court if needed to show the cops were lying but she said we might not have to if she could gently "persuade" the cops that the might be embarassed by the evidence we had on o...ur side. I paid her $2,500, which is less than what a bunch of other lawyers quoted me. Well, long story short...I made the right choice for sure, since the DUI charge went away and I paid a fine. I really couldn't believe it because lawyers always tell you they're trying for one thing and then they let you down gently later. We've had lawyers handle criminal cases several times for us in New York and Virginia for various things and I never had a great impression that they could do that much but it changed after this lawyer. She asked me to put a review on here so people could know the truth about which lawyers can really help you. I hope I won't need her again or have any other cases with police, but if I do or anyone I know has one, I'll be sending them to her. i'm not putting in my name here cause I don't want any backlash from police. Thanks again Ms Roberts

TRULY HELPED US

Today is Labor Day and we are meeting Ms Roberts on our precious day off just to make a final payment to her on my husband's DWI/DUI case. She has requested that we put up a review on here to help her marketing. No problem--we are beyond satisfied. My husband got charged with a DWI/DUI and also dr...iving under suspension from an old case. When we did a search online for what would happen in Pa, it looked bad. He was going to face a lot of jail. The best we were hoping for was work release so he wouldn't lose his job that he had for 21 years. When we were shopping for a lawyer in the beginning, we got all these letters from so-called DWI/DUI lawyers telling us to hire them. My cousin sent us to this lawyer Kate Roberts and we were impressed. She doesn't work in a big fancy office and she told us she does most of her work herself but my husband said i'ts like our family doctor who does a lot of the work himself in his office. He's available around the clock for us and he is respectful and very knowledgable. So we were figuring she is old-school. But actually, she told us she never wanted to be in a big firm because they overbill clients and individual lawyers can't do cases the way they see fit. So we talked to her on the phone once or twice, then met with her and then hired her on the spot. Never regretted it b/c she got an awesome result. My husband did some house arrest and is on probation but she worked out an amazing deal considering what we read about what he was facing. And he even is gonna get a license to go back and forth to work so he's not totally suspended. She helped us contact the DMV and worked that out for us too. Nothing more to say--thanks so much!!!!!

THE ONLY LAWYER IN ALLENTOWN WHO CARES!!

M y son is a student at Muhlenberg College and got a DUI 9 months ago. We read that he would lose his license automatically because he was underage and this was the 2nd time he was arrested for a DUI (but the other one was in NJ). We were prepared to help him keep his record clean in whatever way w...e could but I knew that he'd probably end up with a long license suspension and since we don't live in Pa, he'd have to leave school or pay his roomate or something to drive him around all the time. Long story short, we were referred to Attorney Roberts by one of the Allentown police (a female police officer who was involved in taking our son into custody), who said this attorney knows all the police and judges and she will get us through the right way. We talked to a few other lawyers who specialize in DUI cases and it seemed like they wanted a fortune up front but with no promises. Attorney Roberts told us that she would shoot for trying to keep his record clean but she wouldn't lie to anyone because she could lose her lawyers license and that sometimes it's better to just come clean about your past.....in the end she was right. The DA respected it and was more lenient on my son than he had to be. I have had some bad experiences with lawyers in the past (although not criminal cases) but Attorney Roberts is the best. She always returned our phone calls immediately, even emails and texts. Why can't all lawyers be like her????

WONDERFUL!!!

I got a DUI in Berks County and I was already on probation for another DUI. I hired Kate after I talked to about 10 other lawyers. She sat with me for a really long time compared to the others and explained everything. I thought I was going to jail for sure but she kept me out with some careful m...anuvering. The best thing was that the other lawyers I talked to sent me letters in the mail saying they were "DUI lawyers" and they wanted a fortune from me just to get started. Kate gave me a pleasant surprise when she quoted me a much lower fee. At first I thought maybe I should go with the higher price lawyers but then after talking to her I realized those guys are shysters, Kate is the real deal and now I can say we're friends. I've already referred 2 friends from my job who got DUIs to her and they both told me she's really good. I don't really understand the ratings on this website because I actualy talked to some of the lawyers on this site and they were clearly not what they're ratings said. All they wanted was to give me a few minutes and then pay up!

Had bad experiences with 2 other lawyers and then I met Ms Roberts!

My wife got a DUI last year. She's had major depression and her drinking got worse last year, then after the DUI, it got even worse and she got a 2nd DUI while she was on probation for the 1st one. I thought FOR SURE she was going to jail. I hired this lawyer in Bethlehem who barely would return m...y calls. I would call him 20 times for each time he would call me back. Then we switched and hired a female attorney who was supposedly very knowledgeable about DUI cases. Problem was, she also didn't respond very much. We were really weary of trying to switch lawyers again but I read and and heard from some friends about Ms Roberts so I called her. What a difference!!! I know I was calling her a lot and my wife is a handful,, but she carefully led us through this whole ordeal and my wife ended up not in jail. She's been off alcohol for 140 days now and we are so grateful. I offered Ms Roberts extra $$ and she said just go on Avvo and write a review of me so I did. I didn't know how a good lawyer is supposed to behave until we switched and just how bad the other 2 were until we hired Ms Roberts. Plus, she speaks Spanish! She told me she has to use an official interpreter in court, but still, it's good that she tries. She told me she also speaks Arabic, although I can't really speak on her ability in that. Don't hesitate, if you need an agressive and knowledgable attorney in criminal defense, it's all she does and boy is she good!
