SAVED my brother's life!!!!!

I hired Ms Roberts from reading these reviews because we didn't know how to find a good attorney and just started looking around. It was for my stepbrother who got charged with aggravated assault because he got a DUI/DWI and the other people in the other car that he hit were very injured. I knew it... was gonna be an uphill battle because no one in the court system had a lot of sympathy for my stepbrother since he was intoxicated while driving....even though he didn't plan to hurt anyone and plus the driver of the other car was also intoxicated....complicated to say the least. After more than a year of court hearings we got a result that saved my brother from state prison and gives him some peace. Ms Roberts met with my brother about 6 or7 times in her office but she also kept him informed with emails and calls promptly which is something that not all lawyers do! I don't know how your rating system works here but in my book she's a 10 because she did everything we asked for and was honest about what the options were the whole way. Thank you thank you thank you Ms Roberts!!!

Best Attorney Ever!!!

Was charged 2nd offense driving under DUI suspension facing mandatory 6 month minimum. I am speechless for Kate’s skills, talent, contacts, and confidence. This woman is AMAZING!!! I’ll spare the fine print on the details but walked away no jail, probation, or house arrest. Zero points on license and... no further suspension, only a fine that I paid on the spot. I will trust this woman with my life and cannot even express how awesome she is!! Any legal troubles again and she is the first I am calling. Thank you Kate.

Wonderful lawyer and now a friend too

I hired Kate to represent my son for his DUI. I use her first name because after handling 2 different cases for us, I"m proud to say she's become a friend. My son is a senior at Lehigh U and doesn't need the aggravation of losing his license for too long but especially needs his record clear of any... black marks for the future. He had kind of a bad accident and we were told by numerous attorneys that he would not be eligible for ARD. Kate told us it will be a long process and we need to tread very lightly with certain personalities in the court system but that she thought she'd get him ARD......and she did. I'm ecstatic about that, especially because my son already had ARD 3 years ago for a minor drug possession charge. We were also told by other attorneys that ARD is once per lifetime or at least once in 10 years. She got us ARD anyway for this so we are incredibly thankful. And now my sister was charged with stealing from a store and after a long battle and many discussions, eventually they dropped the charges because although she was on video seen taking items and then walking out of the store, she didn't hide them but just had them in her hands while talking on her cell phone and absent-mindedly walking out. Kate said this is more common than you'd think. Stores never give people the benefit of the doubt (not to mention that my sister looks like a spaced out hippie) but Kate said don't worry and she was right!!! Kate knows that our family is not really a bunch of criminals and over time, we've come to be friends with her. She's coming to my baby shower next week! If you have any type of trouble with police and you want a very personalized experience with an attorney that knows all the players in the Lehigh Valley then I'd recommend her wholeheartedly.

FABULOUS LAWYER--deserves her great reviews

My boyfriend got charged with drugs when cops stopped his car and he was driving his friend to the LV mall. I won't say any names or which police cause I don't wanna get anyone in trouble but the friend had a lot of drugs in his knapsack and it was hidden in the trunk. Cops said they were BOTH maki...ng a drug delivery to a customer. My boyfriend was coming off work where he works really hard for his money!!!!--not a drug dealer. Cops arrested both of them. We were so scared because we talked to some lawyers who told us that my boyfriend was facing 10 years in prison and they said he couldn't fight it cause the drugs were in his own car. We hired this lawyer Kate Roberts and she told us that was nonsense and that we could fight it but it would take a while. We had to go to court about 8 times and we had 2 long hearings plus a whole trial in front of a judge but not jury. The judge found my boyfriend NOT GUILTY and we are so relieved. My boyfriend got his job back and we got justice! We don't really hate the cops because they were just doing their jobs and I would think it belonged to the 2 guys if I was a cop but thank god all the truth came out in the final trial. Miss Roberts saved us literally. For that whole thing which took more than 1 year to finish, she charged us $6K and I think that was fair. I have already told my neighbors and 2 coworkers about her because she's way better than other lawyers I met in Allentown and 2 lawyers in Emmaus we talk to .

SHE PAYS ATTENTION TO DETAILS

This attorney specializes in DUI cases and I sent my boyfriend to her 2 years ago and then I got a dUI myself and of course I went back to her. Ms Roberts explains everything so well and really takes the time which I appreciated because the other lawyers I called could barely be bothered with me and... wanted a lot of money. I paid her 2,000 for my DUI case which I thought was very reasonable since other lawyers were charging double that. My boyfriend never wrote a review for her but he should have done it because she really got him a huge break too when he had his case 2 years ago. We didn't have expectations that our charges would suddenly go away but just that out lawyer would stay in touch and keep us informed and take our calls. Ms Roberts called me back when I called her every time within 24 hours and usually within a couple hours. I've already recommended her to 2 different friends and she's the only person I would trust. Plus she doesn't talk down to me like a lot of lawyers seem to do.

  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
