Great job on 3 separate cases--the best

We hired Attorney Roberts for one case 2 years ago (a DUI) in Northampton County. She got my husband into a program and helped him with his driver license suspension. We were very pleased with the result compared to the other attorneys we talked to, who said there wasn't anything they could do. It... took a very long time but Attorney Roberts got a good result. She also kept us in the loop and I appreciated that. Then later on my daughter who is a student at Lehigh University got charged with retail theft and since she's 18 it's in the adult court and we didn't want her to have a criminal record. There was a problem because my daughter had a prior shoplifting charge when she was 14 so they didn't want to give her a first offenders program but eventually Attorney Roberts got her that program and she got to keep her record clean. And now just a few months ago my sister was having a problem with Children and Youth Services in Easton because her newborn is not growing properly and they were blaming my sister for not feeding her or getting the baby to the doctor correctly. I hired Attorney Roberts to handle my sister's case (and I'll admit my sister has some issues but we don't want the baby taken away or put up for adoption). So after a long process in the courts we have the baby with us now and kept it out of foster care and my sister can have the baby back with her after she meets a bunch of requirements. We're so thankful that Attorney Roberts helped us through this whole process because it's scary how they can take a baby away from someone in the blink of an eye. I should have put up a review of Attorney Roberts a while ago but I just got around to it and I can vouch for what a super lawyer she is. Anyone who talks to other lawyers and then talks to her can see immediately the difference and that she is very careful in how she handles cases and pays attention.

SO GLAD I SHOPPED AROUND FOR A LAWYER.....

We hired Kate Roberts to handle our son's marijuana case in the juvenile court. That was 2 years ago and then he got a DUI just recently. I do not understand some of these reviews on here because some of the lawyers on here have ratings that seem to not match reality. We interviewed a bunch of law...yers in the Allentown area for my son's case the 1st time & it was pretty clear to me that these lawyers must be rating themselves cause they were pretty bad even in a 1st meeting with them. We actually hired Kate Roberts on a recommendation from our lawyer that handles our business and accounting legal issues. He said we needed someone local who's a criminal lawyer and he sent us to her. So after 2 different cases with her, we are so pleased. She met with us on the weekend in our home and answered all our calls almost immediately. Even my lawyer who handles our business legal stuff doesn't do that! I only wish she did other kinds of law because since she's doing mostly criminal law, we won't need her very much....I hope. Thanks again Kate for your splendid handling of my son's cases. I would happily recommend you to anyone who calls me.

GOT US OUT OF STICKY SITUATION

My husband and I own a construction business and my husband was approached by the FBI because I guess they thought he was employing illegal aliens. We were told to get a lawyer right away who handles federal cases and there's not too many of those in Allentown. We went down to Philly and we talked ...to 3 lawyers in one day but they all wanted over $10K and my husband wasn't even charged with anything yet. So then we went on different websites trying to find a lawyer up in Allentown that does federal cases. My husband knows a guy whose wife works for a law firm in Allentown but they don't handle federal cases, only DUIs and we were told that federal is different. Anyway, one thing led to another and we read some reviews of Kathryn Roberts and we called her. Holy cow why can't all lawyers be like her????? She was honest and straightforward and told us a million times she wouldn't sugarcoat it and my husband could go to jail. She drew us a map (literally!) of how the case would go through the system at each stage if he got charged. Well he was charged and she told us to expect that but after a very long 2 years, we got it worked out and my husband had to pay a heavy fine but no jail. So thank god, we didn't lose our business and our home. Our kids were so scared because my husband's name was on the news all over the area. This lawyer was a godsend and really knows what she's doing. I really am so thankful and we owe her a huge favor so thanks again!!!!

Strong Attorney Ever

She helped me with my landlord. My wife was pregnant and we were living in a complex where things were getting worse and worse and the management disappeared. I documented all our problems like leaks, mice and things that I wouldn't allow my wife to live with. So she advised us to move out and ...give notice as we were leaving and she would handle it if they tried to sue us for breaking the lease. They did contact us at our new apartment but she handled it from there and I never heard from them again. Ms. Roberts was really helpful and made me feel that I had the power instead of the apartment owners. She is nice but also a strong attorney.

TRULY HELPED US

Today is Labor Day and we are meeting Ms Roberts on our precious day off just to make a final payment to her on my husband's DWI/DUI case. She has requested that we put up a review on here to help her marketing. No problem--we are beyond satisfied. My husband got charged with a DWI/DUI and also dr...iving under suspension from an old case. When we did a search online for what would happen in Pa, it looked bad. He was going to face a lot of jail. The best we were hoping for was work release so he wouldn't lose his job that he had for 21 years. When we were shopping for a lawyer in the beginning, we got all these letters from so-called DWI/DUI lawyers telling us to hire them. My cousin sent us to this lawyer Kate Roberts and we were impressed. She doesn't work in a big fancy office and she told us she does most of her work herself but my husband said i'ts like our family doctor who does a lot of the work himself in his office. He's available around the clock for us and he is respectful and very knowledgable. So we were figuring she is old-school. But actually, she told us she never wanted to be in a big firm because they overbill clients and individual lawyers can't do cases the way they see fit. So we talked to her on the phone once or twice, then met with her and then hired her on the spot. Never regretted it b/c she got an awesome result. My husband did some house arrest and is on probation but she worked out an amazing deal considering what we read about what he was facing. And he even is gonna get a license to go back and forth to work so he's not totally suspended. She helped us contact the DMV and worked that out for us too. Nothing more to say--thanks so much!!!!!
