I am very happy with the service provided by the office staff as well as David Bifulco. I called him on a Thusday in regards to a court hearing requiring a list of 21 things I needed to present for a judgement on a credit card case in a matter of 2 weeks. I went into David's office on Monday and f...ound out that there was an emergency and he had to leave the office, I left a check as well as the documents needed for my case and expected a call on Monday. I got a call from the office staff telling me that I did not need to come in to see David and that he would be giving me a call later that evening. As he promised he did make a phone call and we talked for a good 15 minutes as he listened and understood my situation. David showed empathy as well as giving good advice. By Tuesday afternoon I got a phone call telling me that the case was closed and I no longer had to pay an ungodly amount of credit card debt that I actually tried to work out with them to begin with. I hired David the day that I first spoke with him and without hesitation, as he was very knowledgeable and very professional as well as personably friendly! After being sued by an original creditor, I contacted an attorney with the express purpose of defending the lawsuit to get out of paying the debt. Most of the attorneys I spoke to told me something along the lines of "don't tell me if it's really your account as ignorance is bliss; I will argue the ...merits of the creditors' paperwork, and these original creditor cases are difficult to beat, but I have about a certain percentage win rate so you 'could' win." Despite those claims, something did not sit well with me. On a whim, I reached out to David Bifulco and he was completely honest about these original creditor cases, the effects of a judgment on my credit report, and his own personal dealings with the lawyers working for the original creditor (Capital One, in this case). After having a thorough discussion with David, I decided to retain him and go the route of being responsible and actually owning up to paying my debt instead of trying to use a bunch of different tactics to avoid it. David negotiated a tremendous two-payment lump sum deal for me, even convincing the creditor to give me three months before I started my payments to allow me to get the funds together to pay off the debt. And when I was sued by Capital One for another card I had, David again negotiated a tremendous deal that allowed me to make those two payments after I concluded payments on the first account. Even more, David worked with the creditor to withdraw both cases on the basis of me following through on my agreements, which the creditor actually did; I never had to go to court! No judgements (unless I don't pay); nothing on my credit report, and once my settlement payments are made, my score will likely even go up since a monthly charge-off will stop reporting. I will be honest; my first thought upon being sued was to deny all, fight, and shirk all responsibility for my debt. That changed upon speaking with David who was seriously upfront, honest, and confident in helping me to get on a schedule to make the payments without going into further debt. For what it's worth, know that David actually answers his own phone (I have always contacted him on his cell phone), returns all calls (I've called him a lot; I often have a lot of questions), and will double-check an issue and follow up with you if it appears something does not sit well with him. He has helped me a great deal! I feel so much relief and will be calling on David in the future to settle other debts.

My experience with Mr. Bifulco was outstanding. My mother and I were being taken to court for a student loan we didn't know was outstanding. We contacted Mr. Bifulco to try to settle the matter outside of court or, at the very least, so we could have someone in our corner. Mr. Bifulco was extremel...y professional and courteous. My mom has been ill for several years and is on public assistance and I barely make ends meet as a teacher in an inner city school. Mr. Bifulco worked with us to resolve this matter in a clean, quick, and cost efficient manner. Within a month we had a settlement and a resolution that everyone is happy with.
