My primary practice areas are criminal defense and litigation.
My criminal defense practice includes representing individuals accused of a variety of crimes, including felonies, misdemeanors and serious traffic violations. Furthermore, I was previously an Assistant District Attorney with the Schuylkill County District Attorney's Office, prosecuting criminal cases in Schuylkill County from the preliminary hearing stage all the way through jury trials and subsequent appeals.
In my civil litigation practice, I represent both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of disputes, including personal injury and wrongful death, as well as real estate, commercial, construction, landlord-tenant, employment, discrimination, and collection litigation issues.
I also handle real estate, wills/estate planning and the estate/probate process.
My offices are based in Schuylkill County, and I spend most of my time operating out of the Pottsville, Tamaqua, Orwigsburg and Pine Grove offices. However, I am available by appointment in our other offices. Furthermore, I regularly represent clients in numerous counties throughout the region - including Carbon, Northumberland, Berks, Dauphin and Lebanon counties.
I have been licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania since 2004, and became licensed to practice in North Carolina in 2008. In 2009, I was also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Outside of the practice of law, I serve as an active volunteer firefighter with Hose Hook and Ladder Fire Company No. 1, holding the rank of Captain. In addition, I also am the Vice President of the Pine Grove Volunteer Firefighters’ Relief Association, which provides funding to the fire department for training and equipment.
