I am very appreciative of the excellent work John H. May and his law firm did for my husband and me after I was injured when I fell on black ice at a convenience store. I suffered serious injuries that required surgery. In the days following my fall I was being ignored by representatives of the com...pany, and Mr. May quickly filed a lawsuit to force the store to produce the surveillance video (that showed that my fall was unavoidable), as well its internal snow removal policies & procedures. In reviewing this evidence, he discovered that the snow removal contractor violated the company’s internal safety rules by piling snow in a high traffic location where it could melt and refreeze as black ice. We eventually went to mediation and, using this evidence, Mr. May obtained a substantial settlement for us. The mediator told us that if we hadn’t had the video evidence (which is often deleted by companies after 20 to 30 days) and an attorney who was willing to take our case to trial, our claim would have only been worth a fraction of what we ultimately received.

Would highly recommend

My daughter had John H May for a personal injury case. She was a minor so I was involved thru the entire process. He was very understanding of a difficult situation, personable, very easy to talk with, treated her and the family with respect, kept us up to date with the progress of the case and had u...s prepared if needed for court. He was always available for questions or concerns. He fought for Justice on behalf of my daughter and Justice was served.

More then just an attorney

I was in a pretty debilitating car accident and throughout the whole process my experience with John May was excellent. He was dependable and always did what was best for both myself and my case. He was always in contact with me and discussed all of the option with e before making any decisions. I fe...lt very confident in his abilities through out the entire process and if not for him I don't think my case would have been resolved as well as it had been. I would recommend him to anyone looking for the best outcome in their situation and would go to him again if I needed any kind of legal help for an accident related injury. Five stars doesn't do this man or his practice justice! Extremely grateful.
