I am writing to express my sincere gratitude and deep appreciation for the outstanding job Attorney John May did for me. To put John’s determined, positive work in proper perspective, you have to understand where my case stood before I met him. I thought I had an attorney who knew what he was doing, ...only to find out my case was not getting anywhere. Through a good friend who had used John for a previous case and was totally satisfied with the expeditiousness of settling that case, my friend kept telling me, you must meet John, because he knows how to get the job done! I’ll never forget my first meeting with John May; within the first few minutes of hearing John detail to me all that is involved and what he would do to try and settle my case, I said to myself, this attorney knows exactly what to do, and what he is talking about. I am so thankful that I made the right choice to work with John May. This is why I chose John May… • Due to the complications of my case, along with a very contentious automobile claim, John very professionally never backed down, but represented me to the very end, obtaining the maximum amount of third party and underinsured motorist’s insurance coverage available. • John did not hesitate to file a lawsuit, which I believe increased the pressure on the insurance companies. • The availability of John calling me personally, and promptly returning phone calls during working hours and numerous times after working hours made a profound impact on me. This is the second time we have used John H. May for a personal injury case need. The first involved my husband & the second time involved myself. John and staff were amazing. All of our questions and concerns were answered and he walked us through the process each time. Great to work with

I was hesitant to hire an attorney but am glad I did. John May took care of all the negotiations with my insurance company in my claim for underinsured motorist benefits. This was an enormous relief for me so I could concentrate on my recovery. John met with my husband and I multiple times until we w...ere comfortable with what would happen during our deposition. The deposition was grueling but John had us prepared and was with us the entire time. Thanks to his aggressiveness in pursuing my claim and the time he spent to prepare us, my claim was settled and we did not have to go to court. I cannot thank him enough.

I am very appreciative of the excellent work John H. May and his law firm did for my husband and me after I was injured when I fell on black ice at a convenience store. I suffered serious injuries that required surgery. In the days following my fall I was being ignored by representatives of the com...pany, and Mr. May quickly filed a lawsuit to force the store to produce the surveillance video (that showed that my fall was unavoidable), as well its internal snow removal policies & procedures. In reviewing this evidence, he discovered that the snow removal contractor violated the company’s internal safety rules by piling snow in a high traffic location where it could melt and refreeze as black ice. We eventually went to mediation and, using this evidence, Mr. May obtained a substantial settlement for us. The mediator told us that if we hadn’t had the video evidence (which is often deleted by companies after 20 to 30 days) and an attorney who was willing to take our case to trial, our claim would have only been worth a fraction of what we ultimately received.

He was very understanding of a difficult situation, personable, very easy to talk with, treated her and the family with respect, kept us up to date with the progress of the case and had u...s prepared if needed for court.
