I am writing to express my sincere gratitude and deep appreciation for the outstanding job Attorney John May did for me. To put John’s determined, positive work in proper perspective, you have to understand where my case stood before I met him. I thought I had an attorney who knew what he was doing, ...only to find out my case was not getting anywhere. Through a good friend who had used John for a previous case and was totally satisfied with the expeditiousness of settling that case, my friend kept telling me, you must meet John, because he knows how to get the job done! I’ll never forget my first meeting with John May; within the first few minutes of hearing John detail to me all that is involved and what he would do to try and settle my case, I said to myself, this attorney knows exactly what to do, and what he is talking about. Guardianship

John represented us in a guardianship case with our son.. He made himself available; returned calls promptly; kept us informed about the progress of our case in a timely manner.. His skill’s he demonstrated in court proceedings were amazing given the circumstances..When taking guardianship, it’s ver...y hard to talk about some issues, but John was very sensitive to this matter..He knew when to give a shoulder..He treated us just like family..John periodically checked on our family..He went above & beyond..Hire this firm you will NOT regret your decision..

Excellent Legal Services in Guardianship Case

John May represented us in an emergency guardianship case in crisis. He immediately arranged an emergency court hearing on a holiday. He is an excellent communicator who took the time to explain the process to us, collaborated well with us in preparing for court hearings, provided professional, comp...etent, and flexible representation in the courtroom, and followed through with all details in a timely way afterward. Mr. May has good community relationships and understanding of community resources that proved helpful. I am very appreciative of the excellent work John H. May and his law firm did for my husband and me after I was injured when I fell on black ice at a convenience store. I suffered serious injuries that required surgery. In the days following my fall I was being ignored by representatives of the com...pany, and Mr. May quickly filed a lawsuit to force the store to produce the surveillance video (that showed that my fall was unavoidable), as well its internal snow removal policies & procedures. In reviewing this evidence, he discovered that the snow removal contractor violated the company’s internal safety rules by piling snow in a high traffic location where it could melt and refreeze as black ice. We eventually went to mediation and, using this evidence, Mr. May obtained a substantial settlement for us. The mediator told us that if we hadn’t had the video evidence (which is often deleted by companies after 20 to 30 days) and an attorney who was willing to take our case to trial, our claim would have only been worth a fraction of what we ultimately received.

My rotten experiences

Where do I start? I was so rudely told to go home and have my house put up for sale and to sell my car because I am too stupid to take care of them! Then there is the matter of nasty, threatening emails and voice messages not to mention all of the times I was told to pay up my house hold expenses whe...n I did, he would say you shouldn't have done that! Ever hiring John H May was the biggest mistake I ever made!
