My family has used Alan for the second time. We needed Alan to handle an expungement for my son. Couldn't have asked for a better attorney to represent my son or a better outcome. Mr. Ross is a great lawyer, he always treated my case like it was his top priority! I was facing 7 charges, the Marijuana Dui being there most severe. I retained Attorney Ross a little over a year ago to represent me in a felony case that hinged on whether or not a traffic stop and prolonged detention and search of nearly 3 hours involving myself and a passenger was in fact lawful. Of particular interest in this proceeding was Pennsylvania's recen...t change of procedure consent to search a motor vehicle. Attorney Ross is well versed in search and seizure, and was aggressive in using this knowledge to put a detailed line of arguments together using many well researched judicial precedents, as well as statements from the arresting officer that he elicited during an excellently conducted series of cross examintions during pre-trial proceedings. Due to his efforts and performance, the entirety of the vehicular traffic stop was suppressed by the court, and all charges were dropped. The results were such that the prosecuting attorney declined to appeal the desicion. In addition, Attorney Ross has continued to represent my interests very effectively with the Attorney Generals' office, heading off a Civil Seizure of my vehicle and property after the fact, and securing the return of all items. I see where some below have some issue with Attorney Ross's communication style. I understand he is a single parent, and is a one Attorney practice with one legal aid. While, in my apprehensions about the case, I may sometimes have wished for more frequent phone time, he is always very quick to respond to detailed queries via text. If a development warranted more detail discussion I got a lengthy phone call. In closing, I believe Attorney Ross to be a good attorney, and a good person that truly cares about the outcome for his clients. If he can find a legal edge that may shift the balance in his clients' favor, he will use it for all it is worth to attempt to obtain the best dispensation he can.
