Best lawyer!

I met with many lawyers before making an appointment with Craig Shagin and most of them stated that a positive outcome on my case was almost if not impossible. Mr. Shagin explained our limited amount of possibilities and we decided to put our trust on him after we notice his knowledge and professiona...lism on the immigration topic. Always providing support to me and my family, he moved on with the case without giving up at any point and due to his experience and skill, we ended up with the best possible outcome. My family and I will thank him for life.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I have worked, consulted and strategized with Craig on numerous immigration matters. Craig is an extremely intelligent, hardworking, passionate, ethical and honest lawyer. He works hard to protect his clients and is very creative in his strategies to win cases. One of his greatest attributes is his ability to think “outside of the box” to create effective new ways to challenge the government in the most difficult of cases. When I have a difficult case for which I can see no relief, I call Craig. It is then that his brilliant mind goes to work and comes up with new ways to challenge specific obstacles in my cases. Craig wins the vast majority of his cases, but even when he loses he goes down fighting … hard. From behind the scenes, I can report that Craig worries about his clients and is very passionate in his fight to protect them from deportation. Craig is the perfect mix of brains, heart and guts."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
