Matthew Stephen Kopecki

Attorney Kopecki went more than 18 months without sending me a bill. When he finally emailed me his bill it stated I had 30 days to pay. When I immediately questioned some of it he sent my account to a collection agency 6 days after he said I had 30 days to pay. Save your money, save your credit... score and hire another attorney.

I hired Kopecki for a family court matter. While he did obtain an OK custody order for me, he did not send me a bill for over a year and a half, and when I got the bill it stated I had 30 days to pay. When I questioned the charges, instead of discussing it with me, he sent it immediately to collect...ions 6 days after I received his bill. 24 days short of the 30 days he gave me to play. Instead of discussing my concerns, he sent it straight to collections. Save your credit score and hire another lawyer.
