Matthew Stephen Kopecki

Represented me in a 1st DUI case. I had prior convictions and Mr. Kopecki was up front with me through out the whole process. He worked for me and tried to get me what I wanted which was ARD. I hired Kopecki for a family court matter. While he did obtain an OK custody order for me, he did not send me a bill for over a year and a half, and when I got the bill it stated I had 30 days to pay. When I questioned the charges, instead of discussing it with me, he sent it immediately to collect...ions 6 days after I received his bill. 24 days short of the 30 days he gave me to play. Instead of discussing my concerns, he sent it straight to collections. Save your credit score and hire another lawyer.

I retained Matthew because my Pennsylvania Instant Check System (PICS) background check concerning the purchase of a firearm was placed in a "undetermined" status. I challenged the decision and was told the "undetermined" status was because of a marijuana possession charge in Ft Lauderdale Florida on... 3/29/1972. Given the time restraints I didn't have enough time to have the records pulled and sent to me to prove my innocence. I then made one of my better decisions and retained Matthew. Matthew was very professional and friendly, he had the whole situation taken care of in a short amount of time with very little cost. I am now the proud owner of a Glock. Matthew might not know it but he is now a friend of mine. I would certainly recommend him to anyone needing an attorney.
