He has obtained acquittals in numerous felony and misdemeanor trials, including; first degree murder, rape and other sexual offenses; drug delivery/possession, and other serious felonies and misdemeanors. Attorney Dickey has successfully won Appeals before both the Pennsylvania Superior and Commonwealth Courts as well as the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He has appeared on CNN as part of a special report concerning his defense of a homicide case. He also meets the Qualifications for Defense Counsel in Capital Cases (Death Penalty) pursuant to Rule 801.

A lifetime resident of Blair County, Attorney Dickey realizes the importance of supporting our local youth in obtaining their goals. He supports the community through sponsorship of many youth sports programs, including football, baseball, basketball, and hockey. In addition, he speaks to local school children about our legal system during Blair County Law Days. He has also judged many high school mock trial competitions.

Dickey believes in continued education, and has taught criminal law, legal research and domestic relations through the Penn State Altoona campus. He has also been a guest lecturer providing courtroom tactics to various law enforcement personnel. Mr Dickey also provides frequent legal commentary to local and national media, including CNN. His down to earth style has helped many people understand complicated legal issues effecting our country today.
