James did absolutely nothing on my civil lawsuit in 2 years he filed my complaint that I could have done for free two years later he knew I gave him my life savings I made that clear and he knew he could take my money and I can’t fight back I’ve had attorneys tell me he can’t just take your money I ...got two returned calls in two years and not one paper or any document showing any work done on my care I’m currently talking to malpractice attorneys now if anyone can refer me please do so not hire this attorney every attorney I’ve spoken too told me I should not have hired him at all the reviews are real people

Mr. Jeffries Has cost my family a lot of time and money with little to no movement in our custody case. He does not return phone calls or emails (for months if ever) and does not proceed as he ensures that he will. When we follow up to inquire about something he said would be filed and has not (afte...r asking many many times over the past year), he becomes rude and says that these things take time. Twice he did not show up for hearings either on time or at all- substituting with an associate without notice. He mails duplicates of orders that the court sends and charges you for it, also charges for things that he did not complete. We hired a new attorney and in less than 24 hours he completed what we have been asking mr. Jeffries to do for the past year. He would not seek what we were asking for in hearings even though he assured that he would. The list goes on, and though he is such a nice man, unfortunately I do not endorse him as a lawyer. Time is precious when it comes to children, and that just doesn’t seem to be a priority to him.
