Highly recommendable lawyer

I have been working with Elizabeth (Liz) for the past year on a very difficult divorce case. Even with the overwhelming amount of paperwork, motions and court appearances, Liz remains focused on the case in great detail. Liz is very personable and gives the feeling of not just being a “case number” b...ut determined to work for the specific cause while understanding the hardships of the personal situation. Liz is very knowledgeable with divorce law and the workings of the Court. She knows how to push the cause yet knows when to relax and allow the Court to make a ruling. Presentation of the case to the Court and the opposing lawyer is without a doubt a strength for Liz who remains decisive with her actions. Liz is highly recommendable.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
