About John
Biography
A partner at Caroselli, Beachler, McTiernan & Coleman, I earned a Bachelor of Arts from St. Vincent College and a law degree from Duquesne University School of Law.
I was named Workers' Compensation Man of the Year in 1992 by the Allegheny County Bar Association Workers' Compensation Section for my work in helping injured workers. I also received two awards from the Association for Continuing Legal Education for Professional Excellence and Outstanding Achievement. In addition, I have been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America (1997 to present) and a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer (2004 to present). I served as the Chair of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association from 1990 to 1991 and Chair of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association from 2005 to 2006. I am a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice and the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County.
I concentrate my practice on Workers' Compensation, Personal Injury, and Admiralty. I am a Martindale Hubbell peer-rated AV Preeminent for very high ethical standards, legal ability and professional excellence.
