I contacted Berger and Green in September 2018 to help me file for disability. From the moment I contacted them, they put my mind at ease and handled everything! They were compassionate, and answered every question I had clearly and with lightning speed. Amazingly, my case was settled very quickly and a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders.
I chose Cynthia Berger (of Berger n Green) to represent me in trying to get social security disability benefits 7 months ago. I couldn’t have made a better choice ! I’m only 64 and had to give up working as a nurse a couple years ago. This was devastating to me because I loved the care I gave in nursing, as well as the satisfaction I received in return.
So having this great attorney and her associates guide me through this difficult process was awesome. They were patient, understanding, compassionate and explained everything each step of the way. It took less time then I expected to receive the award, but it’s here and I couldn’t be happier ! Much appreciation to Ms Berger and her kind team. I’d recommend them to anyone!! Susan p

Thank goodness for Cindy Berger
After being denied for social security disability, I did not know where to turn for help. My disease had taken away all of my energy and will to live. I called Berger & Green and spoke to a very nice girl who took all of my information and had Mrs. Berger call me back. Everyone at that firm is so kind and caring and stayed on top of my case. I cannot believe how quickly they got things taken care of for me. They told me to just worry about taking care of myself and they would worry about the red tape. They took care of everything and now I do not have to worry about how I am going to pay my bills.

I won my case but there were issues
As I stated, I ended up winning my disability case but it took almost 3 years to get the verdict. The staff were excellent in getting in touch with me to get all of my medical records sent to them. My beef is that I went a LONG time waiting to come to hearing time. At one point it was 7 months and I heard nothing from them until I called them. I did get a Christmas card every year while waiting for my case to come to trial. I thought that Cynthia Burger was going to be my attorney but that was not the case. I met the attorney that represented me for the first time ever in the lobby outside of the hearing room. We met for 5 minutes before going in front of the judge and advocate. I won my case but the attorney basically said nothing and I did 99% of the talking while presenting my case. I don't know if this is SOP with the firm but this is what happened with my case.

What a surprise...
this lawyer failed to keep contact with me, causing me to be left with unnecessary burdens financially. I hired the company to solve my problem, not add to and create another.

Dear Mr. Biv,
I am sorry that you are unhappy with the services you received at Berger and Green. As you may know, I do not do accident cases, I only represent people seeking Social Security disability. However, as a principal of the firm I am concerned about your dissatisfaction. I would like to talk to you personally, but I am unable to locate your contact information in our client database because we do not have a client with the last name Biv. Please call me at your convenience. I can be reached at 412-661-1400.
Sincerely,
Cindy Berger
