He has very poor communication skills. Not only will Matt not return your phone calls or emails but he will not even respond to the other parties attorney. Talk about unprofessional! During the consultation he seems like he will get things done for you, but the second he gets his retainer money from ...you he stops caring about you. He gets his payday all up front so there is no way to hold him accountable. Something else that is just not right is that when we talk about the details of my divorce offer he just emails it to the other lawyer without giving me a chance to look it over first. The other party is always given a copy of everything their lawyer does for them and even has to send it to me so that I can see it!! Divorce is not an easy thing to go through and choosing him was a HUGE MISTAKE. I wanted someone to help me navigate my way through the divorce process and tell me what has to be done but instead I feel like I am blindly stumbling through the process alone while the other party has someone actually fighting for them.

I retained Matt Buzzetti for a court case once before and although he really didn't do anything for me except get me less time with my daughter o thought I would retain him again. I only had about $1,500.00 I had saved up so I e-mailed him and asked him if he would be ok with that price. I did owe hi...m a previous balance of about $300.00 so he said yes he would do it for the proposed $1,500.00 and the previous balance owed and I agreed. When it came time to pay him I emailed him and asked him if he took debit cards or if I needed to get like cash or whatever. No response. I called and left a message, it was ignored. I called again and I explained the situation to his secretary and she said "one moment" went and asked him about it and she came back and said "No, he said $3,000.00 and the previous balance owed." I was looking right at the email from him that spelled out "yes let's do it for the proposed $1,500.00 and the previous balance" he said it himself. I said "that's not what the email says that I am looking at." She didn't want me to forward her the email and all she wanted to do was forward me a bill which she would have got taken care of if he had kept his word. I later then forwarded him the email saying there must be some sort of confusion and even sent him the screenshot where he himself said $1,500.00 and I received no response. I was confident in Matt's abilities and I wanted him as my lawyer now I just see him as a liar. I believe lawyers should keep their word especially since my fiance and I were one of his first clients and retained him once already before.

Attorney Buzetti is an amazing lawyer and human being. All too often attorney's are seen to be elite and not on the same "playing field," if you will. Matt listens, and works his hardest for his clients. Matt always made me feel safe and sound. My custody case was complicated with wild accusations... being thrown about. Matt made my case simple and easy. Matt always kept me up to date with everything that was going on. Matt not only served as my attorney, but also as a friend that told me not to worry unless he was worried. He never worried. Matt is a tireless lawyer that is ethical, has morals, and a great guy. I highly recommend Matt for divorce and custody issues. As a single Father whom has custody of his children, Matt made sure that my case would be successful in the face of absolute nonsense. I cannot recommend Matt enough!
