I hired Tom in August of 2017. I was charged with two felonies and a misdemeanor . All of the charges were dwi related and it was my third one in ten years. This man was patient ,informative , attentive, and most of all results driven. He accomplished what seemed to be the impossible. The felonies ...were thrown out and the misdemeanor was wittled down to a failure to produce a license . Totally unrelated to alcohol. I kept my license and am happy to pay a minimum fine . He did not rush it through the system, but rather took the time to explore a number of options to get to the absolute best possible conclusion for my situation. I got charged with a 3rd DUI conviction. It was kind of weird situation but nonetheless I was very nervous to what may happen. With 3 DUI's you could face up to 4 years maximum in prison. I was working with another attorney who was not passionate about my case and just wanted to go through the motions and collect the cash. I ended up seeking out another attorney to finish my case. The very moment I spoke to Tom the outlook of my case was 200% better, I did not feel panicked and my wo...rld was going to end. Tom personally handled every detail of my case. He focuses on DWI cases and really knows all the ins and outs of the laws in NYS. he knows the court room, law enforcement and judges and how they typically work. At my refusal hearing i was found not guilty of refusing the breathalyzer. my previous attorney told me it was a waste of time to even pursue the hearing. No one is ever found not guilty. My previous attorney asked for a retainer of 15k and wanted it all up paid before the last hearing or he would not represent me at the final stage. Tom charged me 5k and worked out a payment plan I could afford and my case was never about when the next payment is coming. Tom has done everything he said he was going to do in fact more. He truly cared about me personally and giving me the best representation for my case. He is not your typically lawyer he is a terrific person. If you want your drivers license back and this horrible thing your going through to be less stressful hire Tom. I still have my final hearing to go but so far Tom has put me back in the drivers seat.
