Kevin exceeded my expectations from the word go. He was always there to listen to my concerns, and answer my questions, and above all, represent my best interests, even when I was unsure of the path we were taking. He could see the big picture in ways that were difficult to fathom in the midst of t...he 18 month divorce disaster. My ex-wife's midlife crisis ended up costing her far more than even she considered. At the end, Kevin handed me every SINGLE THING I asked for in the divorce, and several things I didn't. kevin shelby was my third atty. for my divorce. two previous atty's either didn't show up ( sent associate) or said one thing then never delivered or had excuse's. kevin sat with me , reviewed everything and formed an outline for me. Any time i had a question he was a phone call or text away, even o...n weekends or evenings, can't say that for either of previous atty's. kevin get's it done.

Kevin worked with me and listened to my concerns and my ideas. He did not sugar coat anything or tell me one thing and go and do another. He didn't drop the ball or forget to do anything that he said he would do or was required by the Court to do. He personally met with me on many occasions or agreed... to meet with me if I had requested to go over my concerns or strategy (ies). He was very responsive and will even text message which is how we would sometimes communicate. Good with emails (within 24 hours). He also helped keep me calm in front the adversaries. Didn't get me too involved in any of the nuances or back and forth of negotiating with the adversary. Giving money to my ex was not going to be an easy or happy moment, but I was satisfied with the outcome and how it was structured. We didn't use the Court/courtroom itself to resolve our issues and were able to get it settled fairly quickly (within about 7 months) from actual start date with the court system. For what I gave up ($$$), I was very happy with what I obtained/kept. Reasonable retainer.
