Kevin exceeded my expectations from the word go. He was always there to listen to my concerns, and answer my questions, and above all, represent my best interests, even when I was unsure of the path we were taking. He could see the big picture in ways that were difficult to fathom in the midst of t...he 18 month divorce disaster. My ex-wife's midlife crisis ended up costing her far more than even she considered. At the end, Kevin handed me every SINGLE THING I asked for in the divorce, and several things I didn't. My ex's lawyer didn't see several of Kevin's strategies coming and we surprised them several times in court. It was fantastic watching them unable to figure out what to do. Kevin gave me a shot at a life and a relationship with my children I couldn't have imagined at the beginning of the divorce. I have referred him to several of my friends, and he represented me in a post matrimonial matter, to swift resolve, also exactly what I was looking for. Kevin is professional, and did everything I asked him to. I would not hesitate to recommend him to another person, and I would not hesitate to retain him again in the future, should the need arise.

Mr. Shelby has an uncanny ability to adapt to his clients in a very personal way. In fact, he was so calm and casual with me that at one point I wondered if he was too calm and casual. I should have not been concerned. In my situation, push did indeed become shove, and Mr. Shelby immediately rose to ...the occasion, demonstrating a command of the law, and frankly the English language that proved beyond a doubt that I had made the right choice. If you find yourself in my situation (post-divorce vexatious and vitriolic claims), keep calm, trust in his skills, and he will help you arrive at the best possible outcome.

My divorce was such a nightmare no one can even fathom what I endured. I relied and trusted Kevin to represent me but he turned out to be a huge disappointment. I also never received any monthly statements of charges and when I asked for them he told me it would be too difficult to provide. I have ne...ver heard of such a thing!! I also had to return to court at a later date to resolve something that hadn't been finalized in my divorce which he actually should have completed. He wouldn't take care of it and I really was not happy about that. Therefore, I had to pay another lawyer to complete the service.

My wife hired Kevin Shelby and when I met him for the first time, he served me divorce papers in Family Court. He was a nice guy but I had a lot of fun watching the man be nervous and illprepared.
