After fifteen years of marriage, I filed for divorce. It was the hardest decision I ever had to make. I went into it with high hopes - that we could be mature adults, co-parent responsibly, and be fair in financial matters. It became clear quickly that the divorce would be stressful and at times, ugl...y, between my former spouse and I.
