Nina F. Juncewicz, Esq., has dedicated 25 years serving the Immigration and relocation legal needs of her clients' seeking to obtain physical access to the United States market for commercial work and/or family reunification. Her experience was developed early as an outstanding scholar for the agency formerly known as INS at the U.S/Canadian border, and later in its Buffalo District Office’s litigation Department. This experience brought her first-hand knowledge of the technical nuances of complex U.S. immigration law and the government adjudication process which she uses for her client’s benefit. She later practiced business and family Immigration in a statewide corporate law firm before opening her own private practice, as a successful Women and Minority Owned Business Enterprise to which she serves as principal.
Her practice includes representing multi-national companies, health care institutions, universities and a multitude of other industries, as well as families with their immigration needs. Nina is proficient in securing H-1B, O-1, TN & L-1 visa and obtaining permanent resident status on behalf of her client. She also has a robust practice representing those who wish to reside in the U.S. based on family ties, including those foreign nationals who have or will marry U.S citizens making them beneficiaries of I-130 Petitions or fiancé visas.
Representing foreign physicians with their unique immigration needs has also been a distinct practice field of experience for Nina. This includes her critical understanding of 212(e) restrictions, waivers to those restrictions, USMLE requirements and equivalent certifications needed to practice medicine in the United States, especially for those with Canadian training.
Ms. Juncewicz attended Canisius College where she graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Economics and Finance before obtaining her Juris Doctorate, with honors, from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. Ms. Juncewicz is admitted to practice law in New York State and the United States Western District of New York. She is a member and past co-chair of the Immigration Section of the New York State Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the Erie County Bar Association. Nina is an active volunteer with the Buffalo Center for Elder Law & Justice on immigration matters for the indigent and is a frequently requested lecturer, speaker and writer in the area of US Immigration both in the United States and Canada.
As a first generation daughter of an Italian laborer, Nina is passionate about helping others attain the incredible gift of living and working in the United States and is dedicated to staying current on law and practice of the ever changing U.S. Immigration system for her clients.
Simply put, Ms. Juncewicz navigates the U.S. Immigration system with the considerable knowledge earned by her years of practice experience which benefits her clients. She has a proven track record of moving her clients across borders with ease and predictability.
