I was a licensed Realtor for 28 years, taught RE classes for four different franchises over that time. I also was a trainer for NYS continuing Ed classes in Albany NY. Whenever I had ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING RE, Vaughn was the lawyer I called; or dropped in on. I think his personality is such that i...f you don’t know it, he can come across as arrogant. Get over it, his knowledge of RE and all that it entails, is what matters! My clients that used him had no issues. I am now retired and living in my last house, I’m sure. But if I ever needed a RE ATTORNEY again, it would be Vaughn. Cookie Falcone

He is the rudest person I have ever came across. My father was selling his house and I had to call him on his behalf and because he was in Utica that was more important then being there for an important deadline that we missed. He told me that I need to listen because he is the one who is the lawyer.... His office staff Nevers return calls. I left numerous messages and never returned my phone call but as soon as my dad called his whole demeanor change towards me.

I have never dealt with a supposed "professional" as incompetent as Vaughn Lang and his office. If you value your sanity stay as far away from this shyster as you can. My family used him for two separate real estate transactions and the screw ups, unreturned phone calls, lack of any kind of valid st...atus reports, failure to contact buyer's attorney, sloppy errors, incorrect distribution of funds, and misfiling of tax information are just a few of the issues we had to deal with. When my brother and I stopped into his office (because he refused to return our calls), we spied him leaving the office by the back door. I"m now, two years down the road, I'm having to pay tax penalties due to his office's misfiling of tax data.

He represented me and ensured a shared driveway situation was legally o.k.. Move forward 5 years he represented my neighbor in an action against me for the same driveway - he didn't think it was conflict. Now 10 years later I may not be able to sell my house because of what he didn't do. Pure neglig...ence
