I was born and raised in Central New York and started out as a high school teacher of French, English and Art. I attended Syracuse University College of Law and was admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts in 1992, and the District of Columbia in 1993. I am also admitted to the Federal Bar in each of these jurisdictions.
I was admitted to practice before the US Supreme Court in 1997.
