I retained this attorney at a rate that reflected what I believed would be active, detailed, and highly engaged representation. Unfortunately, the level of support and communication I received did not match the cost. Many times I felt that essential guidance, follow-up, and preparation were missing, ...and I often had to manage important parts of my situation on my own.  Given the hourly rate, I expected a more hands-on approach and clearer involvement in the details of my case.
