Anthony C. Cillis

Anthony was hired by me for a complex DWI case. The circumstances around the case won’t be discussed here, but because of the complexities, he was able to adapt to the case. Everything was supposed to be done by the end of March, and then COVID-19 took hold and everything court related was shut dow...n. Because of this, court dates kept getting pushed back and rescheduled. Finally Anthony was able to coordinate with the DA’s office and the court to conduct a remote hearing. Needless to say, because of the environment that COVID-19 put us all in, Anthony was able to adapt to that changing environment flawlessly. I could not ask for a better result! Anthony is much more than an attorney. He is literally a jack of all trades when it comes to his craft. He will sit there and listen to your concerns, listen to you vent, and will pick you up and dust the dirt off of you when you feel like you’re on the ground. Anthony has represented me in a few cases. Most importantly my custody case. I’m an extremely involved father, love to be with my son. Anthony made sure I had the time with my son very specifically spelled out in the order. Any issues I’ve had with my sons mother I called Anthony and he puts my worri...es to rest. I’ve had an issue with child support and Anthony represented me and came to a fair agreement avoiding any further legal action. Going through a divorce is the hardest thing I have ever had to go through. After that, it was my ex wife trying to move a distance with my kids. Anthony not only settled my divorce in a fair and civic manner, but was able to block the move and keep my children near me and in the same school district.... We spent 2 full days in a trial and Anthony was able to adapt his approach based on the case and changing environment. The judge seemed to always be on our side during the trial. Anthony made my time on the stand less stressful and gave me confidence. Anthony was, and has been, there for me 24/7 for advice, support, and anything else I need. I will be in and out of family court for the next 17 years and he will always be my Lawyer. I can’t thank him enough.

Anthony has become a large part of my life for a few years now, divorce is the hardest thing I have ever had to go thru. Anthony is the Lawyer you want and need on your side! Being a woman I was Leary about having a man represent me for some of the toughest decisions to be made for myself and my ch...ildren's future. There were many times he offered alternatives to my plans, and after careful consideration I was able to make informed decisions, only because of Anthony's advice and knowledge of the legal system. During court appearances Anthony helped to keep me calm, and explained everything to me that I did not understand. He fought for me, every time he stood up to talk to the Judge! He never backed down. I was fortunate to have Anthony as my Lawyer, and grateful for all that he has assisted me with thru the years. Anyone looking for an intelligent hard working Lawyer who lives at his job, then Anthony is the Lawyer to hire. Thru my job I got to see and hear about how Anthony is an excellent Attorney for Criminal cases. Seems to be his Forte right now. I cannot thank him enough for his patience with my raw emotions and confusion, and nervousness getting thru the Divorce process. Court appearances are nerve racking and confusing, it was nice knowing that Anthony knew what he was doing in the court room. Anthony did not waiver with the Judge or the other Attorney involved in the case. Anthony never backed down! Anthony pushed for things no matter what! Even when Anthony did not agree with some of the things I asked for, Anthony went toe-to- toe with the other Attorney. In the end I am more than satisfied with my Attorney. Everyone loses in divorce, but Anthony gave me direction and secured my future for myself and my children. In my Divorce paperwork he has helped me think of all that I needed and if I missed something he researched it and we figured it out. Professional, Patient and Diligent. Hard working!!
