Anthony C. Cillis, Esq. is a graduate of Wagner College where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. He received his Juris Doctorate at Western New England College School of Law and is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. Prior to founding Cillis Law, Anthony spent seven years as the Senior Associate Attorney at one of the Hudson Valley’s largest law firms.
Anthony has litigated matters involving both misdemeanor and felony level offenses of assault, burglary, driving while intoxicated, grand larceny, drug and weapon possession as well as probation and parole violations. Anthony has appeared in courts throughout the Hudson Valley including Dutchess, Orange, Ulster, Putnam, Westchester and Sullivan Counties.
In addition, Anthony has represented clients in all stages of matrimonial proceedings, including post-judgment relief and enforcement, child custody and relocation cases as well as child support and family offense petitions.
Anthony is also one of the area’s few Second Amendment attorneys, aiding clients applying for New York State Concealed Carry Permits as well as those facing suspensions and revocation, including litigation before the Supreme Court of New York State in actions seeking the return of seized firearms from local law enforcement agencies.
