My goal is to help both businesses and consumers navigate difficult times as well as avoid recurring financial stress down the road. I bring twenty years of experience handling business disputes and bankruptcies to bear on behalf of small businesses and individuals needing legal assistance arising from financial challenges.
In addition to bankruptcy and pre-bankruptcy counseling, I represent businesses in contract and lease negotiations, disputes with vendors and suppliers, and any other legal issues arising from cash flow or business disruption problems. I also represent creditors in pre-bankruptcy repayment strategies and maximizing recoveries in bankruptcy cases.
I represent individuals in a variety of situations with the goal of avoiding bankruptcy if possible through proactive debt management of medical bills, student loan payments, mortgages and credit card debt. I also keep an eye out for predatory lending practices that may be present in auto loans, reverse mortgages, and other debt aimed at financially challenged individuals. I believe the deck keeps getting stacked higher and higher against the hard-working middle class, and I will use every legal tool in my toolbox to help even things out.
