Couldn't be happier!

I had been sitting on my business trademark for years knowing I need to secure an official trademark but clueless on where to start. I was seriously considering using an online legal filling service but very uncomfortable with the unknowns and completely overwhelmed by the process knowing there was ...much more that had to be considered. A colleague recommended I contact Lee. It was the best move I could have made. I called his office and he got back to me immediately. He listened very carefully and answered all of my questions to complete satisfaction. In all of our conversations I felt like we were communicating as equals. There was no condescension whatsoever. All of the fees were presented in detail and I completely trust his judgement. He is timely with any follow up issues and clear about deadlines and the consequences in regard to my application for not meeting them. I highly recommend Lee Palmateer and look forward to working with him in the future.

Ownership of Trademark

I used Lee Palmateer's help in resolving a very serious trademark ownership case. The case was as sensitive as it was serious as it involved family members. Lee's extraordinary research and development of this case produced a body of evidence that was overwhelming in support of our ownership of th...e mark. The result was an out of court settlement in our favor saving us substantial public discomfort with family members in a court of law. Throughout the entire process Lee's attention to our need to be kept up to speed on a timely basis and his ability to communicate the progress of the case as it pertained to the law was remarkable. Lee's considerable knowledge, work ethic and ability as well as his sensitivity of the situation make it easy for me to recommend his expertise in an intellectual property case.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
