Darren Arthur Aronow

I initially contacted Aronow Law due to a collection that was filed against me. This issue was a symptom of a larger debt problem that I needed help untangling, and Darren and his team (especially Amanda and Jaime) were able to provide me with a variety of solutions to help me pay down my debt, negot...iate with creditors, and secure financing to help consolidate. They offered so many solutions beyond just the resolution of the collection. My finances are in a much better place today thanks to all of the help they offered me.

Amanda Bauer has been the most helpful+knowledgeable staff member I have encountered in Aronow Law. She has communicated with me in writing+by phone every step of the way through a REALLY complex mortgage process. This despite my availability shifting because my husband was sick with cancer and passe...d away. When I needed to complain about game playing by the reverse mortgage Co. Amanda sought out proper info so I could complain to the proper agency. Jaime sat with me+my children at the mortgage signing. When errors were found in the paperwork, he went above+beyond, with Amanda, to correct the errors, thus allowing me to close on the mortgage. The house is ancestral from my uncle, an African American veteran of WW2, that was denied GI benefits for housing. His grand children sold the house to my widowed mother+maternal grandmother. Mom reversed the mortgage and passed without a will. Hence, the mess. I intend to consult with Aronow Law soon to set up a will, so my children qill not have similar complications.

We were going through a financial hardship after the birth of our third child. The loss of income and increase in expenses, left us playing catch up and losing horribly. We made several payment arrangements with the bank and weren’t able to keep them. As a last resort to avoid foreclosure, we req...uested a modification but were denied and the foreclosure process began. This was a scary situation to be in, especially after owning our home for almost 16 years. We started to receive mail from many organizations offering to save us from foreclosure or buy our house to avoid foreclosure. It was overwhelming with the volume of mail and also very tempting to sell and walk away. Unfortunately this option would leave us homeless with three small children, poor credit, and little money. A cash offer is usually much less than a normal real estate sale and we would’ve essentially been giving away cash equity we’ve accrued over the 16 years. Our poor credit also would make it virtually impossible to get an apartment let alone another mortgage. We then decided selling was NOT an option and we needed to try and save our home. Going through the mail once again, I came across a letter from Aronow. In the letter they describe their services including foreclosure defense, modifications, & a host of other services. They also mention time is of the essence since according to court records we did not answer the foreclosure yet. I then noticed that they also offer monthly payment plans and that was the reason for my initial call. As I mentioned earlier, we’ve been playing catch up for over a year now and could not afford a high retainer. On my initial call to Aronow, I spoke with Daniel. He explained the process to me. He then asked me several questions in order to understand my case a little better. He was very clear when answering all of my questions. He made me feel confident about moving forward with Aronow. I just needed to confirm that everything he said was in the paperwork. I received the paperwork and Aronow was retained. Daniel then forwarded my case to Malini who was my point of contact going forward. Malini reached out to me to introduce herself and explain in more detail the way they would defend my case. I filled out some modification paperwork and submitted my documents. Malini kept me updated on the lender’s responses and offers in a timely fashion. My team at Aronow was amazing! Once all the smoke cleared they were able to secure an affordable modification and the lender agreed to withdraw the foreclosure. Remember the lender denied us a modification with the same information. Aronow saved our home and we could not be more appreciative for their help! I would definitely recommend their services!

I received a sherrif notice and realized this foreclosure was real. I went online looking for mortgage help and instead ran into this law firm who was able to help my situation. The intake person Jay on the phone was so knowledable and took me step by step and what I was facing and options to handle ...it. I read their reviews and BBB reviews and felt at ease. I have no doubt God led me to them. Long story short I faced foreclosure...bankruptcy 13...shortsale...and on the 11th hour I was approved a loan modification with aronow represnting me and helping me each step of the way. They returned all of my calls and emails...they even called me weekly when there were no updates and made me feel that ibwas as important as their next case. The followimg I emailed to them to thank them for all they did. At that time I had written to them I thought I was going to lose my home but no fault to them. At 11th hour God came thru and was faithful and I was able to save my home. This is part of what I emailed them Jay you should be everyones intake caller as you really took your time to explain the process and I wasnt even looking for lawyers at that time and again thank you thank you.
