Yale Pollack is the principal of the Law Offices of Yale Pollack, P.C., a law firm dedicated to all aspects of employment law.  Mr. Pollack graduated from Colgate University in 2001 with a B.A. in History, before attending Touro Law Center.  While at Touro Law Center, he served on Law Review and graduated manga cum laude in 2006.

After graduating law school, Mr. Pollack worked for two prominent law firms on Long Island, where he developed his passion for employment law.  At these firms, Mr. Pollack gained extensive experience in all aspects of litigation and alternative dispute resolution, working closely with clients to develop unique strategies to obtain their desired results.

With this background, Mr. Pollack formed his own firm with new ideas on how to handle claims on behalf of clients by implementing cost-effective options so that they are not left out in the cold.  At this firm, clients remain intimately involved in the legal process, as they know that Mr. Pollack is there to personally serve their interests.  For employees who feel that their rights have been violated because they were discriminated against, harassed, not provided appropriate leave, retaliated against, or not paid properly, his firm is here to help the employees understand their rights.  As well, the firm provides counseling to employers to prevent claims from arising by promoting a fair working atmosphere, whether through preparing employee manuals and agreements, training, or conducting internal audits to ensure that proper pay and documentation is being provided to the employees.

Yale was an excellent attorney. Besides his compassion and thoughtfulness, I was so impressed with his expertise, knowledge, professionalism and dedication. He was always so organized and proactive and always put my interests first. I couldn't have asked for anyone more talented and devoted to represent me.

The best attorney in New York!
When I met with Mr Pollack I didn't know what to expect. I am so happy that I met him! He is the nicest, most professional, and courteous person I have ever met. He explained everything every step of the way, and was able to help me tremendously! He made the situation easy to get through. I would recommend him to anyone.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED & EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL
Mr. Pollack had represented me in an Age Discrimination against my former employer - The United States Government. I was discharged as a result of my age to be replaced by a person more than half my age. However, Mr. Pollack put forth a compelling litigation that the government was more than willing to settle. I was extremely happy with the financial settlement and so pleased with the professional manner in which Mr. Pollack represented me. I would recommend Mr. Pollack's Law Firm!!

Job Well Done!
Back in December of 2015 I called out sick to work on Christmas Day and I returned to work the following day December 26, 2015 to a very upset owner. When I got to work I changed into my uniform and was told the owner would like to speak to me (I already knew I was going to be fired cause she has history of firing employees who call out sick). I sat down across from her and I can tell she was angry she started off by belittling me about my job performance and then telling me calling out sick was icing on her cake to fire me. When I was hired I was given a document to sign by the owners of the restaurant and in the document it read I was to work 12hrs a day for 6 days a week for the first 3mths of my employment then after 90 days I would work 5 days a week 12hrs a day. So the week of Xmas was my 90 day period to be exact Xmas day was day 95 so I was off on Thursday December 24th and was scheduled to work the remaining days of the week without my 2 days off so I took the 25th off to start my 2 days off a week. I was only going by what was in the "contract" they gave me at my hire date. When I was let go by the owner she said "I don't care about that contract/ document this is my restaurant I will do whatever I want to do" so I just laughed and said ok bye. After a month or so goes by I decided to reach out to a lawyer to see if her firing me was legal and that is when I contacted Mr. Pollack and he got back to me ASAP. He asked me how all went down and if I was being paid correctly? At first I didn't know until I looked at my pay stubs and I sent him copies where we both concluded that I was being paid wrong. I wasn't being paid Spread Of Hours (meaning any shift that is 10hrs or more, you are to be paid a minimum wage just for working those hours) also I had more lunch hours deducted from my pay then hours I was actually taking each week. So I retained Mr. Pollack based on his knowledge and prompt responses to my inquiries about the laws of the work force. Mr. Pollack was very upfront and very precise with his answers there was no beating around the bush with him. He was so good that the owner we took action against had her attorneys speaking with him and with one of our many demands sent to them she (the owner) fired her attorney during the middle of the process lol I even told Mr. Pollack that if I were an owner and had to read his list of demands or hear him speak about law over the phone I would be scared and pay him $1,000,000 lol anyway to make a long story short Mr. Pollack was able to get me a lump sum settlement that we were both satisfied with in a very short period of time approximately 4mths. I would DEFINITELY recommend him to any person not sure of the Labor Laws of NY honestly if I was able to pay Mr. Pollack more then 1/3 of the settlement I would have with out hesitation he is worth every penny.

Yale Pollack Employment & Labor Litigation
Mr. Yale Pollack far exceeded my expectations throughout what I thought was a losing battle.; and only wanted to walk away with my integrity if nothing else. His professionalism, ongoing support, following up with all of my questions, and concerns left me speechless. He truly expressed and provided his undivided attention each and every time when communicating. I've never met anyone with such caliber. For him I am grateful as the stress levels affected my health... I pray that he continues to fight against all employment (as he did for me) in such a way that's highly recognized for his diligent and endless efforts throughout his clients personal struggles with employment acts of discrimination... He's a true leader in the judicial system...

Excellent Attorney and Best Possible Outcome
I needed an employment attorney to handle the following situation. My husband's former employers notified me that they were planning to stop paying for our family's medical insurance in a few months. The settlement agreement stated that they should continue paying for the next few years, but the company was trying to interpret it to their advantage. Yale gathered all of the necessary information, and wrote a very effective letter. The company reversed their position very quickly, and I am so relieved. I would highly recommend Yale Pollack for his expertise, and the great result he obtained.

Extremely Grateful
Yale represented me in complicated wage suit against my employer. I knew from the moment I met him that he was the only person that I trusted and could put my utmost faith in, and that he wouldn't let me down. Yale was extremely knowledgeable, not just in regards to employment and wage issues, but in all aspects of law. He was professional and the most friendly and caring lawyer that I have ever met (friendly to his clients...but not to the opposing parties of course!)...He spelled out every step along the course of my working with him, and everything that he promised he would do for me, he did...and more...He treated me not just as a client, but as a friend...and his care for my needs and concerns throughout my time working with him was as if I was a family member! I am extremely lucky to have had him represent me and I am grateful for all of his wisdom, knowledge, hard work, and dedication to me as his client. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of legal council, and I can rest assured that if I ever need representation in the future, that Yale will be there for me. He is an amazing and respected attorney and a great man. I can not thank him enough for all that he did for me and my case, and I know that he does the same for all of his clients. A+++

i terminated my relationship with her and yale and firm,. I am not able to get my file in a readable fashion, its in some kind of zipper and then some other format that i cannot read. the end is as important as the beginning. i am a senior citizen and there is a refusal to print out my file and/or give it to me in a reasonable electronic fashion, i can read. the ending is as important as the start. thus i would not use her or her firm, unless you are masterful at electronics
