This might have been one of the best decisions I've ever made. After going through a separation with my spouse of 20 years who filed bankruptcy and left me with a mortgage our kids and all our bills, I sought help and despite weighing the pros (which were far greater) and cons of filing bankruptcy, ...I could not get over the stigma of filing or the fear that this would be a big mistake.
